Description: what does revamp mean? cause i dont care
Anubis - July 24, 2006 05:03 PM (GMT)
I say we fix Advertisements up from "advertise your site" to "post a link to a cool/funny/interesting site". I just say it because I enjoy posting strange sites but I could just use Gen. Disco.

We must revamp! Up with it!

Actually I think the advertise part should stay, but possibly have a new forum added for the funny/cool/etc. sites.........

Let me explain it once more.
The current purpose of the Advertisements forum is to advertise your own site. What I propose is this, we allow any site to be post in the Advertisements.

Hmm, I agree. It seems a cool idea.

I know what you meant..........and I mean we should keep the advertisements for our sites how they are........
And have a new area for topics for the other sites.........
Anubis - July 24, 2006 09:18 PM (GMT)
I was explaining it to SP and MO. In the new section we can just have a pin post with all the links from everyone's site.

I don't like the idea of having a pinned thread with over 60 sites. It should get it's own sub forum.
Anubis - July 24, 2006 09:21 PM (GMT)
Or that, but the only reason why I would like a pinned thread because that way it can all be in alphabetical order and no need to click so many topics to find a good site to see.

Ya! ya know this sounds good, and ok =D I am gonna go with yes

It's the other way around in my opinion. In a forum you can choose between the last post date, topic title, topic starter, number of replies, number of views, topic start date and last poster in ascending or descending order.

Not trying to start some dumb argument or anything. You might do that but some noob wont, he/she will just look at probably the top 3 topics and those who posted earlier will get the fewest hits.
