Title: Basic Rules for Official MHQ Tournaments

Anubis - July 30, 2006 12:46 AM (GMT)
These are some basic rules for tournaments. The creator of a tournament holds the right to add or remove a rule from his or her competition, but we highly recomend to use these rules as a "universal guide" to any tournament.
Also do not create a new tournament until all current tournaments are done, if you really want to join one ask if they can squeeze you in.

1. No Alt Spamming. This means no staying in Alt form for extended
periods during a match.

2. No glitching. Im sure you all know what this is.

3. No 2v1 Matches UNLESS all players agree to do it.

4. This is still being thought out, but try not to do illigal teams.
An Example of this would be lets say Omega and Pessed
against Anti-Prime and DarkMetroid (no offence to anyone) (As in pros vs beginners).

5. No Shadow Freezing! There is a reason the developers made the
the Judicator Freeze only short distance.

6. If you are doing a Team match, and your friend (or oppenents friend)
gets D/C during the match, the match WILL NOT be worth points!

7. My personal favorite, No Death Alt! Many people hate this. This
is a cheap weapon that can get the user 5+ kills almost instantly,
making him or her be in first place, and also giving them a good
and very easy change of wining.

8. Please, no flaming or bragging. If you lose, accept the loss and go on
with your life. If you win, whooptydo, don't go saying how great you think you are.

9. If any one is caught purposly D/C during a match, they will be
Disqualified from the tourney.

10. No frequent hit and runs, that means if you are a sniper or something and someone gets close, don't run, just switch weapons and fight. Also, this means don't run for health everytime you run low on health. Only go for health when your opponent is dead. Or jusr rarely run.

If you have any idea for a rule PM an admin or mod and we will consider it.

Good luck and have fun in your tournament!
