Title: Need Fusion, zeromission boss strategies? Ask me!
Description: I know the easiest, and quickest ways.

DarkSamus - September 19, 2006 11:06 PM (GMT)
I'll help. Just tell me the bosses name and location, and I'll tell u how I beat it(Don't say the cocoon boss. I hate that one).

Omega Metroid adv - September 24, 2006 05:30 PM (GMT)
...those games aren't really that hard, but okay, i'll ask for a strategy.

question#1. What is the cocoon boss your blabbering about?

question#2. Mother brain 15% hard WITHOUT screw attack(HAH, i'd like to see you try and figure out a strategy for that!) But i don't want the strategy where you morph into a ball on the tank...

question#3. No offence, but who died and made you expert? Are you a 1% completer, are you a 15% hard completer? I've done both but they took me a long time.

SpacePirate - September 24, 2006 06:39 PM (GMT)
@ Metroid vda (or whatever it is): Imago, I think that's what he means.
@ DarkSamus: Actually, I think you don't have to respond to his questions. That sound childish. Maybe MZM and MF are easy, well MZM is hard if your trying to do a 15% run, but if your a pro in those games, that's cool.

Shrander - September 24, 2006 07:21 PM (GMT)
I am too lazy to do those runs in games.
The only game I ever did a low percent run on is MPH, which was actually easy once you learn the movements of the bosses.

DarkSamus - September 24, 2006 10:24 PM (GMT)
Yes, the cocoon boss, the 2nd form of Imago.

And i will get a walkthrough for Mother brain. :P

I take offence for the first statement. I have never said I am a newbie at Metroid. For all you know, I could have beaten all of them with 2%.

For your information, I am slow at games the first time. But the second time I chop off 2 hours minimum. And the reason I asked if people needed help, is that some people may be stuck on a specific boss, and I have beaten each boss in the entire game many times.

grrrrrrrr

Please do not post any one word posts.

DarkSamus - September 25, 2006 12:46 AM (GMT)
Here.
It was made with all difficulties in mind.

Mother Brain:

If you are on hard mode, not good.

Right, from the first zebitite, be very careful of the(Insert correct word here) turrets. They can get very irritating. If you have screw attack, great. Just jump around. The turrets orbs release powerups when destroyed.
If not... well. You're in for a hard time. Before you go on, make sure you are quick with the buttons. In order to keep yourself alive, you must fire at all the orbs immediatly around you, and then quickly turn around to face the zebitite and attack it. When and f you get to mother brain, switch to super missiles (If you have any) Fire as many as you can, then destroy any moving orbs near you.
Do not fall into the lava, no matter what! If you run out of missiles, destroy orbs for a while. When you destroy the glass, wait until MB is about to fire the giant laser. Now, remember those Bio-doors from MF? Put that, and Nettori together. You now have mother Brain. Simply jump over the blast, spin jumping, and when you land, crouch, before MB closes its eye, fire either a super missile, or a couple of normal missiles into its eye. I'm not sure charge beam works.

Repeat the jumping, kneeling firing, standing process until MB dies.

HAH that board doesn't even exist anymore!

ahuh, i asked for hard mode, and i asked for NO screw attack, hehehe...

you know...you might want to put in more detail when you say,

"destroy orbs for a while"

yeah? what if one's coming under you, you don't have the wave beam, and a turret shot is right above you , and the other is heading toward the other block?!?

hehehe.....well, sorry i thought i would get something that worked, how about you try 15% w/o screw attack(hey! I should try it!), lets see how your "totally awesome, working strategy" works.

I appreciate your effort, how about, if...maybe i should try wall jumping on the right wall.....maybe that'll help, anyway,

remember those Bio-doors from MF? Put that, and Nettori together? PLEASE put that so i can understand it...nettori sounds familiar, and bio doors?

DarkSamus - September 28, 2006 01:50 AM (GMT)
I'm trying not to hate you.

Bio doors are those red door eyes that blocks boss doors and Nettori is the sector 2 plant boss that give u plasma beam.

BTW, I copied and pasted that strategy from my guide and its made for all difficulties. Not just hard.

And it ould be rare to have shots on every single direction.

And that's the wrong URL. I'll get the new one.

Omega Metroid adv - September 28, 2006 01:55 AM (GMT)
...it's happened to me often anyway...

OH OH, i know the "never get hit strategy for imago!" Let me get it from another part of the board....

Imago: pfft, so go to his hive, he pops in and he missed, so trail him and fire all of yer missles, then go to the the lowest part of the hill and fire diagonal right, you should get something if you're out of ammo, so then go a little to the right and on the very first slant of the hill and fire, you'll get good stuff, while he comes down from the right, fire all of yer missles, continue and get a super missle tank

there ya go if you want to fight im...go to gameplay help for my 15% normal AND hard guide...whatever, i'll put it on anyways.

NOTE: THIS IS LIKE A GUIDE SO YOU DON'T GO AROUND EVERYWHERE TO FIND SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

So, anyone need help? First of all, who says mother brain is hard?!? She just gets lucky. GET THE SCREW ATTACK or you won't survive in hard...seriously. Unless you have maddening reflexes.

Freebie combo preffered for hard: long beam, screw attack(i don't care about faqs, if this is hard mode you NEED IT), 2 energy tanks, 2 super missle tanks.

Freebie combo preffered for normal: long beam, screw attack, 3 energy tanks, 1 super missle tank

Kraid: omg, this is hard to explain, so ya come in, fire yer missles as soon as you come in and then wait for him to fire his nails, wait for them to get close and duck and fire, then get up and fire, take the rewards and fire away! Once he uses his belly needles to blow up the stuff, get on the 2nd one and wait for nails to come to u...one of the nails will be destroyed because of the platform, leaving you free to shoot the other one and take yer reward, so then if you get a missle capsule then get on the platorm, if he raises his claw, jump off, if he fires his nails, jump and fire his 3rd eye, then if he raises his claw, jump diagonally right onto the block, then get down and quickly fire into his mouth, now on the 3rd belly needle, it's simple if you have at least a half of a tank left, if you don't...yer screwed.

Ridley: umm...you don't really take a hit if you're patient, but if you aren't, you're dead, so you waltz in, then the doors lock, then you move to the right hatch, turn around, and he squacks like a chicken, then as soon as he gets in horizontal range, fire your super missle and keep firing normal shots to nullify his fireballs, then once he's done, move inbetween his feet...now the LONG part...he will fire fireballs when he's in the air, it is possible if you move a bit too forward, he will drain almost all of your energy, so when he fires his fireballs, shoot 2 of them, if the rewards are out of reach, FORGET IT! So then continue, fire 1 missle, and wait for him to make roughly 1.5 rounds of the arena, so then fire another, if you fire under 1 round, then when he reaches a certain amout of damage, he WILL whip his tail and kill u in 3 hits. Repeat 'till death.

Mother Brain: if you don't have the screw attack, SMACK YOURSELF ON THE HEAD HARD! So yadda yadda, fire 2 super missles at the zebitites, then go back get a super missle capsule...reapeat, so when you get into the brain's lair, fire 2 normal missles, stay on the block farthest from the brain, so if a rinka comes, screw attack onto the other block, if you get hit...bummer, so then keep firin' normal missles onto the tank once ye get 'em, then once the tank is destroyed, fire a super missle, then the brain will charge a blast, get onto the block farthes from the brain if ya aren't on it FAST! Then she fires
*slow motion*
you jump onto the other block and over the brain's shot and fire a super missle, so then go onto the block farthest from the brain and then keep screw attacking onto the SAME block, it'll destroy rinkas while you're at it, so then just keep firin and win! Was that so hard?!?

Normal mode escape from brain: just jump up keep goin' you can reach them, if you can't then wall jump onto it, once you're out of there and out of the next part, then just keep bomb jumpin' into the "tunnel" in the ceiling, then go up, then right, then morph ball then go into the crack and onto your ship

Hard mode escape from brain: Okay, you don't have the high jump, so after about 12 tries you should get it, so after there, and off the elevator, you have to HAVE to have over 30 seconds, or restart. So out of that part, don't panic! So then just keep bomb jumpin' into the "tunnel" in the ceiling, then go up, then right, then morph ball then go into the crack and onto your ship, i escaped with under a second left, so hurry up!

Normal mode Mecha-Ridley: this is 3/10 luck and 7/10 skill, so if you didn't get the screw attack WHICH YOU SHOULD'VE, then just duck when he claws, this is quite challenging without the screw attack, but i won't talk about that unless someone brings it up, so then just screw attack and space jump near the top-right area, so just advoid his laser eyes, and his claw, advoid his claw on the ground by ducking in the corner, so then, fire 2 super missles to shatter the glass, get the rewards after you blow up the missles keep goin until death. RUN FOR YE LIFE!

Hard mode Mecha-Ridley: this is 5/10 luck and 5/10 skill, if you didn't get the screw attack WHICH YOU SHOULD'VE, then just duck when he claws, this is VERY challenging without the screw attack, but i won't talk about that unless someone brings it up, so then just screw attack and space jump near the top-right area, a missle will almost take out an entire tank, and his claw will take out 1 1/2 tanks!!! So his laser eyes will do a lot to, so space jump above his head then move onto the ground, his head will be raised, if he claws, duck in the corner!!! So after your 2 super missles, his glass will be gone(i wouldn't think that you'd have to use a super missle to shatter glass!)So then just space jump on the left wall, advoid his laser eyes, the missles will come to you and they will be blow up by your screw attack, get the stuff and fire missles! Look, this is hard because i got 2 super missle capsules within 6 missles, so this is TOUGH! once he's dead...run for your MINISCULE LIFE!

Escape on normal:just run, run, the black pirates...just jump over them, and i mean MUCH over them and then get on the ledge that you first land on and get near the edge, make sure your beam can go just barely over the ledge and just keep firin', both of the black pirates will die and get some distance from the cockpit and keep firin', victory is yours.

Escape on hard: 2 hits and you're dead, for the black pirates BE CAREFUL! just jump over them, and i mean MUCH over them and then get on the ledge that you first land on and get near the edge, make sure your beam can go just barely over the ledge and just keep firin', both of the black pirates will die and get some distance from the cockpit and keep firin', victory is yours.

P.S. I have done normal mode 15% and hard mode 15% so don't doubt me.

DarkSamus - September 28, 2006 02:13 AM (GMT)
Wow theres a lot of them.

Actually Imagos 3rd form is easy, his cocoon form is frustrating.

Omega Metroid adv - September 28, 2006 02:18 AM (GMT)
Now, if you're trying to do fusion 1%, go to the fusion topic and chat with people who are trying to complete it...if you are a completer, pro man! Go and talk with the people who havent!

...cocoon form, well you can fire the outer tentacles by just moving under them...or somewhere near there, now, freeze the turtle as soon as it moves to the side of the wall, and freeze it, aim diagonally and fire constant missles, if you have to freeze it again, jump and aim down and fire, good, that should make it look like child's play

DarkSamus - September 28, 2006 02:19 AM (GMT)
Fusion 1% is near to impossible, the sector 2 SA-X part would be hell.

Omega Metroid adv - September 28, 2006 06:44 PM (GMT)
It was a little tough, i just used my my missles sparingly, it was tricky, but i died around 2 times, hehe....

Fusion 1% guide...i'll work on this bit by bit.

please notify me if i'm missing a boss inbetween

Arachnus-X: fire your power beams, only leave 3 missles left, when he slashes his blue wave, he'll claw 2 times in the air, if that happens, jump onto the ledge and wait untul he rolls, as soon as he rolls into a ball AND starts moving, then jump to the other side, continue until he's dead. Don't worry about core-X

Cyclops-X: Okay, just charge your shot, at the very beggining of the battle...charge in advance, so when he floats down, you have time for ONLY 2 charge shots, so do that, don't try that again, for the rest of the battle, use only one charge shot...stay smart the rest of the battle and you'll survive, core-X will be simple

Serris-X: Alright! Now is when the game gets hard lucky for me i know a spot where you CAN'T GET HIT, as soon as the floor crumbles, in the water, move to the second right platform...then crouch onto the right side, but don't go all the way, just leave a tiny bit of space, then capone him while crouching! As soon as you hear the scream from him, get onto the land and destroy the core-X DO NOT FALL INTO THE WATER!

What about the Chozo Statue-X? B) :metroid:
