Title: *gasp* is this true?
Description: ...i hope not...

Omega Metroid adv - November 19, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
okay, i heard that if you do something with the sonic echo visor, then save again after you do somthing, it makes it impossible to beat the game...is this true?

i highly doubt it, but i just want to be sure.

Extra info: I'm on my way to the screw attack and has destroyed the class...worker...whatever drone, that cleans that stuff in that giant glass tube.

It actually is true. If you use the Echo Visor in a certain location to hit targets but don't hit them all before leaving they reset in a way impossobile to hit so you can't complete the game.

AAAAAHHH!!! where !!! AHAAAAAHH!!! AAAAAHH! AAAAAAHHH! AAAAAHHH!!! is it in the main gyro area, with that massive energy ball?!? AAAAHH!!!

....right now, i just pwned quadraxis first try...with 30units remaining, god, tell me where...or have i already passed it, and don't have to worry about it anymore?

All you have to do to avoid it is solve all of the Annihilator beam puzzles the first time you enter the room. Honestly, this is one of those glitches you have to actually try in order for it to happen to you.

er... what if you tried to shoot power beam shots at the puzzle in the main gyro chamber with the echo lock on....cause i did that....also, i can't find the fourth echo key switch in the main gyro chamber.

Look up a walkthrough. Maybe on 1up, IGN, or Gamespot.

I'm not too up to date on glitches, but I'm glad I saw this topic and found out about it. Can you do that glitch in Santuary Fortress? Or is it in another area? I want to find out so I won't accidently make the game unbeatable. :P

It's in the Sanctuary Fortress.

It's in the Main Reasearch in Sanctuary Fortress. I'm not sure about the name but there's this big turret you fight in Morph Ball Mode to get to the Watch Station. There are this thingies you can see with the Bat Vision-- er, Echo Visor. Those thingies you need to destroy to activate a Dark Portal. If you destroy one or two and you don't destroy the third one then you leave the room; it will be impossible to activate the Dark Portal and that means you won't be able to get to the Watch Station and you won't be able to get the Screw Attack and so on...

I'm sorry. I'm not good explaining but I did my best...

...impossible to get the screw attack... okay that's good, i'm going to be okay.
