Title: I no longer own Hunters

Gendreavus - December 4, 2006 05:03 AM (GMT)
I just wanted to let everybody know that I no longer own Metroid Prime Hunters. Basically, I had milked the single-player mode for all it was worth, I sucked horribly at the multiplayer, didn't have time to practice and get better, and my DS can no longer connect to the internet thanks to my Dad's WPA-2 wireless encryption which he refuses to change. On November 19th I sold it to EB games for something around $14 along with Mario & Luigi: Partners in time (wich surprisingly fetched a couple dollars more...) so that I had money for the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (which I beat a couple days ago).

I'm saying this just to let everybody with my friend code that they can/should erase it now. Free up a space in your friend roster by doing so. Even if I bought the game again, I'm pretty sure that I would have a different friend code because it's a different cartridge. I'm sorry to anybody I may have disappointed or the people who were looking forward to playing me for an easy win (I'm looking at you Dragon... ;) ). I just thought I should let everybody know.

*vanishes*

Oh, & I can't use Wi-Fi anymore since it ALWAYS bugs up. But I'll still keep the game. (leaves thru a warp gate)

Ok that stinks...well at lot of people have to retire sometime! I guess it was just your time!

Gearmaster - March 3, 2007 04:40 PM (GMT)
Forced retirment.
Well, you had a good run.
If you get the game again play me, I need practice.

dreadmaster - March 3, 2007 04:50 PM (GMT)
I got fusion stolen from me too! and when I replaced it (At a Recycling games place) get this IT WAS THE SAME ONE! :P

maridia waterpark - March 6, 2007 08:00 AM (GMT)
I'm going to trade mine in next chance I get. No point in having it if there's no DS to play it on.

Gearmaster - March 7, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)
Bastard
Just get a new DS.

Anubis - March 7, 2007 01:29 AM (GMT)
Gearmaster, we've been through this, I think.

Yes, Yes you guys have.

He's joking, I know him, he's just trying to convince him to get a new DS because that game is invaluable...

Are you on crack?! That game's the reason my DS went haywire. Hey, sell it to ya for $20.

Archast - March 7, 2007 08:05 PM (GMT)
Most people here already have their own copy. Your best luck would be to trade it in.

Gearmaster - March 8, 2007 02:37 AM (GMT)
How did a game, which is controlled by the DS, make the DS go critical and explode? And furthermore, why would anyone want its charred remains?

maridia waterpark - March 8, 2007 08:38 AM (GMT)
It didn't explode. The lower right hand section of the touch screen didn't work. So I put in Mario 64 DS and started tracing the edges of the screen. I found out that the whole corner didn't work.

Like this...

___________

The big empty spot is where it didn't work. Which conveiniently, was NOT used by selecting weapons in Hunters. And on top of that the brightness (it was a lite) went up and down and sometimes just didn't come on.

EDIT: The DS itself suffered no abuse whatsoever.
The copy of Hunters was also a first release edition. So it was probably doomed to h--l anyways.

Gearmaster - March 9, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)
This be true, first releases I never buy, unless its a high priority game.
And I was kidding about the explosion, seriosly guys, learn sarcasm.

maridia waterpark - March 9, 2007 07:14 AM (GMT)
Look at your avatar. Getting shot is the only thing on my mind right now.

Gearmaster - March 9, 2007 07:17 AM (GMT)
*laughs evily*

dreadmaster - March 11, 2007 10:47 PM (GMT)
And i only wish I had A DS.
