Title: Hmm...

DarkSamus - February 11, 2007 03:30 AM (GMT)
I was doing a worldwide search for the same level as me, and i ran into someone. We fought, and for some reason, no matter how much I shot him, he wouldn't die. Then, everytime he shot me with the shock coil, i deid and it said he used the Omega Cannon to do it!

And when the match ended, it said he was 5 star! I think I found someone with no life.. <_<

Hmm he must have cheated.

Gearmaster - February 11, 2007 08:28 AM (GMT)
Its called an action replay, that dishonorable friend cheated.

No, it's not an Action Replay, I should know, I have one.

It's a much stronger hack, it must be similar to the Action Replay's properties, but much more developed...

That's nothing, my friend fought someone who had Omega Cannon, BIPEDAL DEATHALT?!?, and infinite health, missles and ammo! He also could cloak like Trace by standing in one spot, and fired the IMP in Combat Hall while he was Spire.

Nintendo is probably working on this, but their security is very bad, however, hacking with the AR is VERY hard to do with MPH, you must be the host of the game to do it, thus your name being at the top of the list when you join the game. But I have no idea what happens with the other hacking devices, the AR is like a toy compared to them. If Nintendo DOES find anyone hacking or using unlicensed or unendorsed devices, they will permenately ban the person who uses the hack by the DSL's/DS' IP adress(Imagine the creator of Nintendo gets banned  ).

So yeah...uh, there's near a 0.00001% chance that anybody will be caught, but thank god for the AR's, you have to be host.

P.S. On wifi, I find that if you ONLY use the infinite ammo hacks, then it's fine...because in 1p, the other hunters have infinite ammo, it's unfair that you don't.

Actually, a lot of those can be done with Action Replay, just have to get the right codes.
Also, there are people who take flash cards (blank game cards) and load the game onto them, along with a file of cheats that keeps the cheats working continuously.

edit: Here is a list of codes one person said he uses on IGN.

All weapons in all arenas

Unlimited Cloak

Anlimited Health

Unlimited Ammo (missles included)

Unlimited Death Alt

Light Speed Jump

Aimbot(Beta created by me, still some bugs being worked out, ie the game freezes when you switch to mag on oubliette, not being released to the public)(Automaticly targets body/head, depends on weapon, this is a very very very long code)

Increased Speed (Beta created by me, increases running speed, not being released to the public)

Light Speed Boost Ball

Omega Cannon anywhere

Weapon power mod

Shiny Hunters

Auto Destruct (Beta made by me, makes all players that have spawned self destruct when they spawn when you hit X, Y, B, and A at the same time causing them to lose a point, working out the problems now, working out problems now... for example everytime i do this this it works, but approx. 5 seconds after you do this your game freezes and/or shuts off, not being released to the public)

Yeah, I saw that post. It's sad how far some people go to
win on this game...
