Title: Hunters strategies
Description: No Alt-spamming or action replay allowed

Here's a post from earlier.

Samus/Kanden

I used the charge missiles with samus from long distance, so then they get a lock from halfway away, and by the time somebody hears it coming, it's too late.
Always attack from behind. EDIT: The charge beam has a limited tracking effect. try it out when you land on alinos in single player. Stay on the ship and fire a charge shot NEAR the door, it will swerve towards the door.

And here's another tip, when using the volt driver with Kanden, stay out long range, and charge and fire as fast as possible. And so if somebody turns and sees all those attacks coming, they'll panic and try to run away. Most of the time they run into a wall, get stuck and then get bombed. You can also used the cloud of aero Bombs as camoflage. And snipers hate that, they try to squeeze a shot off in you, but you're cleverly hidden in the big yellow cloud. Their lack of speed and turning while in sniper mode is their disadvantage.

Trace:
His ability to go invisible should be used to stock ammo, not sniping. And when invisible, stay close, because areas with distance fog will show a outline of trace. Use the sniper as a last ditch effort, because of his marksman like nature, most of his shots are dead on.

Spire:
His ability to climb walls is the most valuable. And the perfect place to do this is Alinos perch, you can roll through lava and climb the walls in the very back. These are perfect for the Imperialist. Or hide in the lava for Camoflage, then shoot people who go up on the balcony where the imperialist is.

Sylux:
The best time to use the Lockjaw is to rapidly bomb across gaps. This will give you a gliding effect until your regeneration goes out for a while. The best place to use the shock coil is just barely out of it's range. It will move with the target and even when they go into a jumping frenzy. He fires missiles at a faster rate than others, even Samus.

Weavel:
His battle hammer may seem weak, but if you can corner somebody, that's amazing. Make sure the core of the grenade hits the target. This does the most damage. Also use it for the alt spammers, it deters their movement path sometimes.

Noxus:
There is a glitch where you aim a charged Judicator shot at the ground, all enemies at the same ground level will be frozen instantly. NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE.
The number one best time for the Vhoscythe is then an alt-spammer comes after you. a quick smack will send them reeling in a direction Smash Bros. Style.
Charge a jud shot and put it at an 90 degree angle pointing to the sky, then go into alt and go out of alt then walk into somebody and they will have 42 damage done to them if they come close to you also useful if alt spammers are coming close to you, it sends them reeling backwards so you can get and a/f in.

If you have any other sugestions, PM me.

There's one thing you forgot about Noxus but I don't know how to preform but I think this is how your preform it. Some of you guys might have experienced it but it comes at random most of the time or by accident.
[P.S. Nice character explanation]

I'll add that lil tidbit.

Zeta Blade - April 9, 2007 03:07 PM (GMT)
Tanks but remember it's more hard to do than A/fing.

gilsthelizard - July 12, 2007 02:59 PM (GMT)
man i so want hunters and reading that...(drull)want it so badly

Dragon - July 12, 2007 05:02 PM (GMT)
No, no you do not. This is a friendly caution, but Metroid Prime Hunters is not a fun game anymore... Online is filled with people who use codes with Action Replay and people who abuse every cheap aspect of the game. Within a few matches you will hate this game. Newcomers tend not to play either because every time they join a 4 polayer game, they are the ones who are hunted down and killed every time. It's no fun unless you play with friends, and even so they have to be around your skill or it toow ill be boring.

gilsthelizard - July 12, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
yeah i herd ...but i still love the previous mp games   :metroid:

miles07 - July 12, 2007 06:00 PM (GMT)
OBSESSED, aren't we? Why exactly don't you like the 2D Metroid games?

gilsthelizard - July 12, 2007 06:12 PM (GMT)
i dont really know well not the fact that i hate them really ive herd of them but i liked metroid prime better and i never played the 2D stuff

miles07 - July 12, 2007 06:15 PM (GMT)
Then how can you know if you don't like it if you haven't tried it? Start at the beginning, with Metroid Zero Mission... Then play either Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion... and that's actually about it. M2 and Metroid are tough and/or long for a beginner, so the others are better.

gilsthelizard - July 12, 2007 06:25 PM (GMT)
i have played metroid 2 but i got bored so as i was going home one day it fell out of my pocket and some person was lawn mowing and mowed the game :(

miles07 - July 12, 2007 06:42 PM (GMT)
Ooo... ouch... man that sucks...
Like I said, M2 and Metroid are both really advanced-level games in the series. MZM, SM, and MF are better.

gilsthelizard - July 12, 2007 06:48 PM (GMT)
yeah i did like m2 but never played the others but erlier not the fact that i hate them, they look go,its just i never played them yet

miles07 - July 12, 2007 06:58 PM (GMT)
So... play them. Download a ROM and emulator, if you have to, at least to demo them (if you don't have the game cartridge for the ROM, you have to delete it before 24 hours). You won't like them until you try them.

gilsthelizard - July 13, 2007 11:33 AM (GMT)
im really just going to stick to the mp games but one thing is ive always wanted metroid fusion but never got it so i played #2 and i wanted 4,i have played on the internet a metroid game well the first one...its super metroid and fusion i never played so i can just by fusion a download super m :samus: :metroid:

miles07 - July 13, 2007 04:10 PM (GMT)
Hmm... I suggest you take grammar classes first, then post again. But whatev'. I highly recommend Zero Mission, then Super Metroid, then Fusion, in that order. However you get it is all up to you.

Anyway, let's get back on topic here.

gilsthelizard - July 13, 2007 04:58 PM (GMT)

miles07 - July 13, 2007 06:00 PM (GMT)
Hehe... walking on hands.. lol...

gilsthelizard - July 13, 2007 06:06 PM (GMT)
his legs are tanks and he tranforms to a side hopper looking thing,i think now in hunters you can tranform into random creatures

miles07 - July 13, 2007 06:16 PM (GMT)

Why does everyone think there will be a MPH2...?
---

Whoa, I didn't relise this, but this needs to get back on topic. This topic is about posting tactics for MPH, not about which games you like better. The current coversation can go on else where.

gilsthelizard - July 13, 2007 10:46 PM (GMT)
woops well back on topic about hunter statigies

I tried...

gilsthelizard - July 14, 2007 11:20 AM (GMT)
sorta hard to talk about hunters stratagies when theres cheaters and hackers :( :(

Dragon - July 14, 2007 05:23 PM (GMT)
... Fine. If nobody has anything to say about MPH tactics, then don't post. There is no need to post in a topic stating that there is nothing to talk about.

gilsthelizard - July 14, 2007 05:41 PM (GMT)
ok...so no one post then

Dragon - July 14, 2007 10:50 PM (GMT)
This is where I have to draw the line... You have been warned twice already to get back on topic. If you have nothing at all to contribute to the discussion, then don't post anything! Really, it isn't that hard to understand. For this I am locking this topic for spam. Really, I should be giving you warnings, but I'll let this one slide. Remember to keep your own personal conversations on MSN or via PM...
