A you might have noticed by now, we've implemented a new badge system into MHQ, allowing for members to show off what they've won and what they've contributed to the site. So far, the available badges are:

This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a member. Awarded only by MetroidMaster1914, this denotes lasting loyalty to MHQ and is a true testament to one's character.

These awards go to the winners of the MHQ Member contests held each anniversary celebration in their respective cataglories.

As more contests emerge and more things are thought up, you will see more kinds of badges popping up all over the place. The most a member can have at one time is 5, so if anyone ever gets more than that, they will have to give up one of their other badges to make room for the next one. I hope that all will enjoy this little provision, and with that said, welcome to summer time!

It was a code that Shrander told me about, I don't remember where it came from...

One I saw a while back, and customized a bit so it could be used to have as many badges as wanted easily.

I think there should be more catagories then jsut what you said. Those ones are stark and boring, plain and *bleh*. Make ones for "Best picture editor and RPing, and fun things like that.

Well, I can't tell you just yet, as it's a surprise, but last year the member polls started when the anniversary party did, so I wonder when they will start this year...

Well, there's the polls coming up, and I think we should have some for a few contests and the like.


Also, the '06 is because the present badges are for last year's member polls.
