Title: Something funny, but wierd...
Description: A glitch or fluke mabey...

PirateQueen - July 2, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
Earlier, I was playing Metroid Prime from the beginning level. I was approching the parasite queen, but I still had to get through those doors where Samus has to enter morphball form to activate them. Well, I stopped for a second and left Samus near that morphball hologram...then all the sudden Samus started circling the hologram while in Morphball form. The ball was moving very fast around the hologram but it didn't enter to activate the door. It just kept spinning around in circles. I'm not too smart in glitches so I'm not sure if it was a glitch or just a fluke. Thats never happened to me before. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hmm...peculiar....let me think.

I doubt it's a glitch. Probably just some some sort of bad programming....it's weird, but the objects near that area are weird too, I guess it would make sense that this kind of thing happens.

you know those RPG's where you run into an area, and the screen shakes, and you keep appearing where you started, and it all goes real fast? Probably like one of those.

Sound cool though... Maybe there're more like that throughout the game..?

Oh yeah, there's a high chance of that...It'd just take a little bit of unusual thinking

That's happened to me to.
It was teh uber funzorz.
The only difference was I never entered morph ball form.

? That's glitchy.

I just started spinning around uncontrollably, walking, walking, SPINNING!

Maybe it was your controller? In which case, you need to unplug it and then replug it.

Thats kind of funny though...it happens whether you are standing or in morphball form. I wonder what makes Samus want to do that?

No I mean I was moving about in a circle, like in Orbit around a point, while spining, it was kooky.

Sometimes the controller does that sort of stuff...

But still, ya'd think Retro Studios would've caught that during the course of their debugging... Even though they didn't take too long to make the game itself. Oh well, it slipped through somehow, and now we have it. Joy.
