Meh, online or multiplayer has never been a Metroid staple. It'll just be another Halo if it goes into being all about multiplayer. It was never really something that I looked forward to, I just wanted a new great singleplayer adventure! I say it's awesome that they devoted the rest of their resources to a better singleplayer game. Besides, it would probably just be another boring deathmatch/ bounty mode like in Prime 2. The only thing that I can think of that might be cool if they did have multiplayer would be Co-op, with the other players being some of the other hunters and having to use their unique abilities to get through stuff.... But that's just my opinion. <_<

I too think it's a bad move, and I must admit I am a bit dissipointed... Good-bye hopes for an online FPS for Wii... Guess it's not going to happen. V-V

it is a bad move. i was hoping for a multiplayer mode. but glasspirate made a good point. i rather get a better single player mode than a boring deathmatch full of n00bs and crakers.

Hmm...I'm not angry about this at all. Like GlassPirate said, Metroid has never been about multiplayer. MP2's multiplayer wasn't that great to me anyway. Besides, this means a really great single campaign, which I am very excited about.

As Mocha and Taino both say, I agree that I am completely fine with it.
I have always been more of a single player .. erm, player ..
Although it would be fun to duel it out online against some MHQ members.
But alas. Looks like we will have to stick to sequence breaking, secret world hunting, speed running .. and all that good stuff, yeah.
