Is there such a way to code in PHP or CSS (meaning for this website) that allows the members (clients) to HIDE specific boards, such as the General Discussion, or the RP forum boards, only on their profile, using cookies? Maybe it's too difficult to code, or just a bit too much for this site to have. But still...

Well,
1) could it be possible for clients to use that for their own personal accounts, AND
2) is it too much of a bother to apply that to this site?

Um, it could be done, but either it would make the page loading time take a heck of a lot longer, or it just wouldn't work.
It might be able to be done, if IF didn't lock away so many features.

I know there is a simple code for whole sections of forums(the categories), but not individual forums.

An admin puts the code in the board wrappers.
But would you want one to minimize whole categories here?
