Title: POSSIBLE SPOILERS!
Description: MP3 Aurora Video

GlassPirate - August 14, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
Now, I'm sure everyone (at least most everyone) Has seen or heard of the Aurora documentation video from the MP3 Preview channel. Now, Further reading will result in a possible spoiler. You have been warned! Anyway, if you ask me, the aurora unit diagram at the near-end of that video looks so much like *cough*MotherBrain*cough* that it can be no coincedence. Maybe the GF have cloned MB's for their purposes, then renamed them? It's possible that no one besides maybe Samus and top GF officials know what MB even looks like, so civilians and troopers, along with lower-ranking officials, wouldn't notice or see anything odd if they were ever to look upon an Aurora unit. Those sinister, sinister GFeds.... But that is just my theory. I leave you all to discuss this... and because I'm going to go play Doom II... Cherrio!

Personally, I think the GF made the organic computer, then the Space pirates took one and made modifications, or improvements, on it...

GlassPirate - August 14, 2007 09:59 PM (GMT)
Yah, although that means that the Aurora Unit's aren't new, because MB was around during the first Metroid, which was before the Prime games.

Oh no .. not this crap again.

This is like when everyone saw the end of Metroid Prime, when the Metroid Prime Essence turned into that core version and sucked up all the Phazon. I know a few interneters who were all "OMG TEH MOTHA BRAIN!"

Haha. I don't doubt the conclusion that there are several organic computers running around the Metroid universe.

But you know .. Mother Brain worked with the Chozo before Metroid I, right? I figured they created it. Anyways. Whatever.

GP: The vid said that the GF made their first successful Aurora computer 20 years ago. The Space Pirates had some time to get one of their own.

Axion: Mother Brain worked with the Chozo? Source?

Old Metroid comic. I am currently looking for it .. Will edit if I find it.

I believe it was the Metroid Manga comic that featured that...
The Mother Brain was supposed to be the main security control for the cloned Metroids or whatever. Then the Chozo shipped the Metroids to SR388 to put then in a more... "comfortable" environment for the Metroids. Until, however, they noticed that the Metroids began to spawn all on their own. The Mother Brain was shut down...

SOMETHING like that. Don't quote me on that.

I wish I had a wii...

I have read that, Axion, but I didn't mention that because I thought you would all think I was crazy or something.... It was one of the first things that popped into my mind. Hehe...

EDIT: And besides, in that video the layout of the whole Aurora Unit Chamber is the EXACT same, right down to the last cheerio turret... (That's what I like to call them...) So this can't be some unfounded conspiracy like the Prime=MB one.

I second GP's statment, with proof:

Or, it's a tribute to the older Metroid games...
