Title: What are you hoping for...........
Description: What do you think prime 3 should be like

With Corruption less then 2 weeks away we can only hope that everything you wanted. So I decided to make a forum about what everyone wanted to see in the new metroid game. The rules are no spamming, make sure its appropaite to post online, be kind to others. Anyone how breaks the rules will be reported.

Have fun!!!!

All I hope for right now is different weapons besides that weak power beam, the missiles, and that phazon beam. Seriously, I hate button mashing, and from the videos, there's a hell of a lot of it when using the PB. Just give us a rapid fire weapon for christ sake...

I love rapidly tapping the button... I don't know, I feel more powerful then just holding down A and praying that I'll hit something.... If you ask me, the thing I'm hoping for, is that with all the hype, the long wait, the METROID PREVIEW CHANNEL FOR THE WII for christ's sake, that this game will get at least in the 90%'s at any review place, otherwise it will do worse than the other 2 Primes. I expect 95% to 100%, and I will except 90% to 95%. I'm serious, I'm going to be very, VERY strict with this game... I hope it doesn't dissapoint... Metroid Prime I got a 96%, with Prime 2 getting 94%. So this better beat or meet those standards...

Did you see how many PB shots it took to take down a single pirate though? Charge PB shots hardly even seemed to take any effect towards it. If you ask me, it's frustrating getting a semi-automatic weapon (like pistol in Halo 2), but then making it so it's so waeak you have to waste like 40 shots to take down a single enemy. I mean, atleast make it like on MPH Where the PB shoots like it's in burst fire mode, 5 shots then charge, it would make the world a whole lot easier.

Meh, I think it's fun to pump enemies full of shots like that. But then again that's just me... Besides you can't waste shots in a metroid game. :)

I personally can't wait to see how the plot plays out and how the Prime trilogy could effect events in future Metroid games (further down in the timeline).

I am violently waiting for a 3D Mother Brain fight.

some kind of machine gun power beam, when u hold down a it fires like a machine gun (maybe to make it more difficult, add a overheat thingy so when u shoot too much it over heats and u have to wait for it to cool down)

That would probably work. But one thing that's annoying is the GF MArines have rapid fire weaponry, why does Samus have to use this crappy power beam for?

GlassPirate - August 18, 2007 03:27 AM (GMT)
Because it's traditional, and it's not crappy in terms of stopping power.

miles07 - August 21, 2007 03:33 AM (GMT)
Plus, the GF Troopers' semiautos use bullets or something more similar to bullets than Samus' Power Beam laser. AND the Arm Cannon is modular. Are their M-1000s (or whatever)? NOPE!
