I've noticed for quite a while now that the RP forum, erm, hardly ever gets used seriously. Most of the time the people who do post there, barely followe the rules topic...either godmodding or spamming, and the people who do post there seriously, don't usually stick around..

Not really... At least not for me. That place is forsaken ground for me.

I think the problem is its a forum-specific RP, most people are used to only having the same character in one topic. (me for one, thats why I've never played in this rp forum

I vote no, if someone wants one farther down the road, then it can be put back on, but it is just dead space that really isn't good at the moment.

Needs reforming, as I said. Or remove it if you don't reform it.

Reforming it means work. Dropping it takes less work. I'd drop it like a hot potato and never pick it up.

But that's just me.

To be totally honest, I'd want to have control of it in order to perform reform. I thoroughly enjoy the RP forum, when its not all about how you can gain a power suit to godmod your way into defeating Mother Brain and her Co. Reforms I'd make would be more careful regulation of characters and progression rate. More then once I notice someone make the topic, 1 person joins and right after that the very next day the topic creator assumes that noone else is interested and starts it prematurely before anything can be thought out and people rapidly lose interest in a topic with no actual plot.

We wont have a good RP section till we can break away from this theme and start some new ones. Yes this is a Metroid site, but lets try something new.

I like my only Character!! Oh well.. If it's possible, I would like to help reform the RP Topic a bit, as well. Just so I can try and make it a bit more serious, instead of all these weapons the blow everything away in one blast and characters controlling other characters. Serious RP = Great Fun. Not Serious RP = Great Fun If Done Correctly. Horrible RP = What It Is.
