Title: Reviving Multiplayer
Description: WFC Hunters

Kiroshima - November 8, 2007 05:13 AM (GMT)
Wi-Fi gaming for Hunters has been poor evidently, with all the cheaters and lowly gamers taking the field. However, this does not limit us from having our own games, by using Friends and Rivals WFC mode. This will allow us to not have to worry about the cheaters, for none of us belong to the group. It would be nice to have a decent game of Hunters with you all, Im sure, since we are all Metroid fans, or we probably wouldn't be here in the first place. I would like to know if anybody else would support MHQ Wi-Fi gaming, and if so, we should contact admins so they can update the Friend Code list accordingly.

:samus: We are the elite. :samus:

GlassPirate - November 8, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
Correction. YOU are all the elite. GlassPirate doesn't even know how to set up his DS' Wi-Fi connection, and lost Hunters conveinently sometime after he beat singleplayer, says GlassPirate.

Gendreavus - November 9, 2007 12:17 AM (GMT)
Awwww, you don't even get money from a store when you lose a game. I shed tears for you GP.

As for setting up your wireless connection, it should be fairly straight forward once you get to the Wireless Connection screen. If you're confused about a certain part I could probably help you out.

Kiroshima - November 9, 2007 03:31 AM (GMT)
"Conviniently lost" the game... Dunno what to do about that, thats something you'll have to deal with.

As for connecting, im sure plenty of ppl who go here can explain to you the steps to obtaining a connection, and Im pretty sure one of the Pinned/Sitckied topics is all about connecting.

Otherwise... eh, dont know how else to help you GP.

GlassPirate - November 9, 2007 04:03 AM (GMT)
Meh. I'm not worried. Just posting, is all. <_<;

SM-X - November 11, 2007 07:23 PM (GMT)
I would contribute, but my precious and Hunters recently got stolen.

Kiroshima - November 12, 2007 01:30 AM (GMT)
I heard about that, make sure you take action and recover your precious and your Hunters.

Dragon - November 12, 2007 02:52 AM (GMT)
I still have my precious and my copy of Hunters intact. I haven't played for a while, but I'm willing to join in MHQ battles.

Kiroshima - November 13, 2007 01:10 AM (GMT)
Sweet, that is a for sure one, but we need more people, and of course each other's friend codes. Im not going to have a friend code post/topic, since there is a pinned one already.

The one bit that hold me back is WiFi access. I'd have to go to the nearest McDonalds' to get free access, and I hate McDonalds'.

Strike-Freedom - December 10, 2007 01:39 AM (GMT)
Haha! Whatever. Count me in.

Btw, i'm really sensitive about "cheapness".

Yeah, i can really suck sometimes.

Kiroshima - December 10, 2007 04:45 AM (GMT)
Wait, does that mean your aren't a good player, or you seem lousy because people are cheap?

miles07 - December 13, 2007 05:24 AM (GMT)
More likely the mixing of the two: that he hates it when other people call the shortest-paths-to-the-goal-with-as-little-work-as-possible cheap; however, you have to notice that the shortest-less-work-paths might take more effort to find than the other paths, just because some of those options are so out of the way.

I am a 5star hunter, I play infrequently, I lose infrequently.
The multiplayer lacks.

miles07 - December 14, 2007 04:16 AM (GMT)
True, but it was a step forward compared to the other multiplayer game (Echoes >.<)...

Gearmaster - December 15, 2007 09:09 AM (GMT)
Whats wrong with Echoes? Besides lack of player choice, playstyle, stages, weapon config, overall paly...

oh..

>.>

Strike-Freedom - December 19, 2007 12:36 AM (GMT)
well i guess i'd think i'd suck because the others are cheap, making me lose, so i thing i suck...i guess...

miles07 - December 21, 2007 09:41 PM (GMT)
Two words: practice and persistence. To get better, you have to try harder. Master the easier levels first before moving on to the next one. Work your way up at your own pace.

Gearmaster - December 22, 2007 09:21 AM (GMT)
Wrong.
Its who can afford the action replays.

miles07 - December 24, 2007 08:58 PM (GMT)
That would be called cheating.

Gearmaster - December 28, 2007 08:02 AM (GMT)
Does it stop people from doing it?
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

CyberWolf - February 2, 2008 05:53 PM (GMT)
I would to play Wi-Fi with you guys, but I need to adjust my router setting before I can get access to my connection.
Just give me awhile and I'll be able to figure it out in time.

miles07 - February 12, 2008 06:24 AM (GMT)
I needz to find better access with a WiFi hotspot... The guy that lived next door moved out, so I lost my wireless internet access -_-...
