well,ya see,i just got the power bomb...y'know,the one that makes the big explosion?well,i was playing Super Metroid on my wii,and i thought the next place i had to go was inside that glass tunnel, where,if you blow up the glass with the power bomb,it will break open and you're in the water. well i went upwards and jumped over this pillar and since i don't have the gravity suit i can't get out! can someone help?

Congratulations! You've just reached Maridia, the most annoying, confusing place on Zebes!
I don't know the way, but you need to find Spring Ball, Plasma Beam and Space Jump.
You'll need the Gravity Suit for that.

Try to make the most of this. I'm pretty sure you can get out. Can't you just jump back over the pillar?

I'm sorry, I'm not helping at all. I haven't played it in years.

aw man i screwed up :D but i suppose i will try to jump back over but i tried so it will take a few days...

After getting the Power Bomb, the next upgrade you should get would be the Grappling Beam, which means you have to go fairly deep into Norfair.

thanks guys.i found a way out AND i just beat Phantoon!

miles07 - December 26, 2007 08:24 PM (GMT)
Next up for you: Plasma Beam, Spring Ball, and Screw Attack. Then Ridley. Joy.

Well, technically, he COULD'VE skipped the Grapple Beam if he was willing to pull off an insanely-difficult shinespark to get into the Wrecked Ship with as little as four energy tanks (like I did), but, Grapple Beam's easier. :P

Gbleek2 - December 27, 2007 07:46 PM (GMT)
i beat Phantoon and i can't find the gravity suit x_X

miles07 - December 28, 2007 01:03 AM (GMT)
Oh, Phantoon. I thought you said Draygon. My bad.

Gravity Suit... Well, after beating Phantoon, go as far up in the Wrecked Ship as you can. Once you hit a hall with green Ki Hunters, head left. You'll end up back outside, where you'll need to solve a Morph Ball maze puzzle to get to a small cave. Watch out for any holes!

Gbleek2 - December 28, 2007 02:39 AM (GMT)
ok,thanks.

Once you get the Gravity Suit, head to the right to go through into another section of the Wrecked Ship. Solve a few Speed Booster problems in order to claim a Reserve Tank.

Gbleek2 - December 28, 2007 07:56 AM (GMT)
yeah,i think i saw that....it was so confusing :P well at least i know i have to use the speed booster now.

i hate maridia.. can't find boss. got stuck in the room with energy tank above sandpits.

To get to Draygon (without stopping for tanks along the way):
1. From the glass tube that you blow up with a Power Bomb, head as far upwards as possible.
2. At the top of an incredulously tall room, head right. You'll find yourself in a large underwater cavern filled with the balloon-like enemies.
3. Use the Grapple Beam to make your way to the top-right door of the room. It'll be tough, since you need to swing your way towards there and missing will cause you to use a balloon enemy to get back up to a platform.
4. Inside the next room, bomb the floor and drop under. From there it's pretty straightforward, but watch out for the Mochtroids, the sand pits, and the blue bee-like enemies that come out of nowhere. The Speed booster and the Grapple Beam are key items here. Just keep heading up and right (and sometimes down) and you should find the Guardian Eye near Draygon.

Ok.

miles07 - December 28, 2007 09:05 PM (GMT)
Still, you should find tanks as much as possible. Try using this map for clues. WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!

Gbleek2 - December 28, 2007 11:29 PM (GMT)
i dont care about spoilers :P
and yes,i do need more energy tanks..

Well, use the map. And then look online for an FAQ/WT, like on GameSpot.
