Which Boss battle made you go all ''Whoa!'' and why?
Write which boss in what game that made you feel proud overself for beating it.

I'll have to say that my favourite battle is the Meta-Ridley one from the first Prime game. Seeing Ridley, in 3D, flying around, screaming madly and throwing bombs at me, it made me feel shiver. When I finally managed to win, my hands were all sweaty and whith a smile on my lips, I ran back to the ship to restore all my energy.

Haha yea that fight was pretty awesome and when i played i like RIDLEY OMG YES FINALLY I MET HIM and then i digged the music as usuall (I do that to get hold on myslef so im not scared of loosing) but its not the most awesome ever. My favourite would prolly be Quake II. Now its not that beautiful or über big but it was actually the first final Boss i ever killed and i just love The "Makron". I also like ganondorf and Ganon in Zelda: Oot they were migthy fun and to finish it all the i loved Dark samus in the elevator in sanctuary fortress (mp2) there is many bosses i like wooow cool but thoose four made me shake xD

Oh, but I meant Metroid games.

uhm... i don't actually like boss battles but the SA-x made me scared.

Ok if it is Only metroid bosses then its a tie between Rildey in Mp 1 and Dark samus in elevator (Sanctuary fortress) in Mp 2.

I liked the elevator fight a lot too. The final battle was not as entertaining.

Oh yeah, I didn't like the Omega Ridley fight in Corruption.*I runs away*

How dare you say something like that??? ok it´s not the best of all times but its all i need its ridley and Samus in a fight in 3D i mean that´s enough. The fight was great but not as much as Ridley in Mp 1 xD

Thardus. Hands down.

Thardus is still my favorite Metroid boss. Ever since 2002, he is the coolest.

But if I get to bosses I really liked, then Quadraxis was pretty darn cool in MP2E.

The funny thing is, both bosses are related to the spider ball in a way. :lol:

The SA-X scared the s*** out of me. Him hands down.

I completely forgot about Quadraxis! I loved that fight, but I hated it at the same time 'cause it was long, hard and many forms.

Man i totaly owned Quadraxis one time i remember didnt we glitch it k2c??
But that was a great fight i had a great time fighting it the first time and when it stood upp in the begining of the fight i thought like "HOLY CRAP Its huge!!"

Now that I think of it, Quadraxis bay have been my favorite other than Thardus.
I mean, Thardus was cool, but Quadraxis kicked axis. hehe, pun.
What about the bosses we didn't like?

My favorite boss was the Mutated Emporer Ing. He had awesome music and fighting to me was just...fun. I also liked Quadraxis, Omega Pirate, and the Grapple Guardian.

Quadraxis by far. I mean, that thing was the biggest boss I have ever seen in any Metroid game. And it was so much fun fighting it. Plus that boss had the coolest music by far out of any boss battle.

I also really dig Nightmare, and Crocomire from Super Metroid was cool too.

As far as other games go .. I never really play games with bosses, but I have to say .. the 'Boss' at the end of Portal was awesome. And it was one of the most ingenious 'Boss' fights, plus I couldn't stop laughing at all the stuff it was saying (especially the blue eye).

Haha yea the good old portal boss haha man thats just classic..But portal it´s so wrong you can glitch it easily as hell..I totaly laughed my pants off in that fight it was so hard to play couse it just made me laugh^^

• MetaRidley = nostalgia
• Spider Guardian = difficult puzzle-battles I smile and enjoy a ton
• Quadraxis = puzzle-battle, but also multi-stage battle, which I also enjoy
• SA-X = sheer suddenness and surprise, especially if you're playing the first time through in the middle of the night and with the sounds off. You never know if it's in a room or not. I scared myself WAY too many times for it to have been funny for any time past the third "scare"

That all I remember for now... I guess I'll post more later...

I felt SOOO good after I killed Sa-X for the first time, as metroid fusion was the first Metroid Game I ever beat! In second place is MP3- Dark Samus and Aurora

I still haven't played MP3C, so I can't comment on those bosses... But I'm pretty sure that the Nova Beam (if one cheated in order to have it from the start of the game) would pwn EVERY boss, guardian, and creature up to the time that you actually get it, hands down. But I guess that just about every game would be better if you started with every upgrade (BESIDES Fusion! See this post to get what I mean by that!).

Bump, because if I created a new topic Anubis would get angry and since I'm already bumping an older one he'll get PO'd which makes me satisfied.

Looking back on some earlier posts, I noticed something. Am I the only person that got Metroid Prime in 2001? Seriously?

Gandrayda was really fun. Possibly the funniest and most challenging in MP3.

Indeedz. Like I said before, puzzle- and multistage-bosses are the funnest for me because
1) I like to be able to think about something instead of just blindly shooting everywhere and hope to get a hit
2) I like to know that I'm making progress throughout the battle.

Well, one look at the Omega Pirate, and I just about dropped a load.

Ridley and Meta Ridley in Brawl were so awesome, and 3-D, and... Awesome!
I suppose those would be metroid bosses, even if they appeared in a different game.

Fighting Omega Ridley in Corruption was awesome. I loved the music they played during the fight!

mmmm Well................. even thought he was easy I got to say that meta Ridley was my favorite, in fact I turned off my GC to fight him again. I second would be prime. lol you should have seen my victory dance form betting prime. lol notice i woke up my mom(10pm) to tell her the news.
