Title: SYLUXXX!!!
Description: I Saw What He is!!!!!!!

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - October 4, 2008 08:42 PM (GMT)
OMGOMGOMG
sorry..
*takes in deep breath*
Ok. i was playing mp3 lat night and got to elysia in veteran mode. then, in the room with the shaky ceiling and is in the shape of a donut, I SAW HIM.
on one of the holoscreens above the doors, there is a PICTURE OF SYLUX WITHOUT HIS HELMET!!!!!!!!!!!!
*faints*

*recovers*
so therefore, the entire "metroid dread hologram" in spacepirateland wasnt the only thing that retro studios left for us. THERE WAS MORE. you must find it!!!

Lucifuga - October 4, 2008 09:26 PM (GMT)
That's Ghor...Or the Aurora unit...It depends on how far you've got.
It is not Sylux without a helmet. Have you even seen Sylux without her/his helmet? No?
Dread is not coming. Drop it.

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - October 4, 2008 10:17 PM (GMT)
First off, i didnt ask for someone to be a jerk. i asked you to go check. second, it is over one of the four doors. i know about the ghor/217 holograms, and this isnt one of them. go CHECK.

fly_boy42 - October 4, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
You must be the first to find it, because I have not found a single mention of it anywhere.

And, if I may ask, what did sylux look like?

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - October 5, 2008 01:32 AM (GMT)
he had the rest of suit on from the shoulders to the bulgy chest, and his head was sorta purple. it had a face like the jelly version of metroid prime, but it kinda had a crest coming up off of his head, like someone took dracula's collar and put it there. this is why i told you to go find it, because i have no idea how to decribe it any better. sorry.

there are four doors. the one you come in the first time, the one with wings that takes you to the volt grapple point, the one that takes you to the falling bridge, and the one with the holo screen.

i cant believe i didnt see it the first time...

Lucifuga - October 5, 2008 06:07 AM (GMT)
Do you have the screen shot tool? That way you can take a picture of it. I think. I've never used it.
If you use a SD card you can move it to your computer and upload it here.

miles07 - October 5, 2008 07:29 AM (GMT)
WHAT IS THIS?! Sylux, unmasked? I seriously doubt it, but the Screenshot tool MUST help.

Also, WHEN EXACTLY did you see him, before or after, say, you get the Boost Ball? Or after you beat Ghor? Or after you restore the AU?

LOLWUT

You're joking.. Pics or it didn't happen :)

Dragon - October 5, 2008 02:11 PM (GMT)
I know a corroded picture of Ghor appears on the monitors during the mission, and I'm thinking you must have them confused. Me being the guy I am, need proof of this to believe it (it's hard to believe if this WERE Sylux, nobody has found it yet). Use the Screenshot tool, take several pictures, and send them to our Wii accounts or better yet upload them to MHQ so we can see.

Just because of this I'll play MP3 and screenshot the monitors just to show you Sylux isn't there. Like Spectre said, for things like this, proof or it didn't happen.

StrafeHunter - October 5, 2008 02:17 PM (GMT)
Mmm, you just defeated the object of religion...

Dragon - October 5, 2008 03:18 PM (GMT)
So I dusted off my Wii and popped in Metroid Prime 3 to see if this kid was telling the truth. found some interesting things in the room on Elysia named "Junction" (or something similar to that). This is Hyper Mode difficulty, Ghor has already been beaten, but the game is not yet completed. I can see a Sylux resemblance, but others may not. sorry about the image quality, I took the screenshots of the game, but it wouldn't save to my SD card, making me have to capture the screenshots with a digital camera (hence the bad quality).

First Image: The AU. This is not to be confused with the supposed "Sylux". This is only to show the difference. Also, this isn't Ghor either, I don't think. I'm sure Ghor looked different than them both.

Sylux Conspiracy? Who is this?

Sylux Again?! Zoomed in this time.

Let's say this IS Sylux. If this were the case, then the ending would make sense. He knows knows where Samus is because he's been watching her through the Sky Town network, and that'd also explain how his ship just appears to be following her just after she left the planet. I think this can actually make a little sense. Images all captured by me, Dragon.

... Of course this is possible it's just another random character which I forgot about, making this all pointless. :P

Hmm

PY, 16:19:04:
It's rather vauge

PY, 16:19:16:
I mean in the actual thing, not your photos

Chris - Dragon, 16:19:18:
The only resemblance is the extruding shoulder pads

PY, 16:19:28:
Aye, the shape, and colour, is similar

Chris - Dragon, 16:19:35:
yep

PY, 16:19:40:
but that head wouldn't fit in his helmet <_<

Chris - Dragon, 16:19:46:
I know xD

PY, 16:20:03:
In any case, it's weird: if it is sylux, then wtf? if not, then... wtf? who is it!

That's my thoughts on it.
In any case, it looks like it could be related to the ending - it's in the same place, after all, but... weird.

StrafeHunter - October 5, 2008 03:45 PM (GMT)
I hope it is Sylux, I am fed up of the female conspiracy, and if it is MHQ FOUND A COOL SECRET FIRST!!!!

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - October 5, 2008 06:45 PM (GMT)
Yeah, thats him. thanks for the pic, because i dont have the screen shot tool yet, dragon. anyhoo, compare dragon's pic with this, then you will see why i freaked out.

kenji imatake - October 5, 2008 06:56 PM (GMT)
..................... now I REALLY need to get a wii! I have to see this for myself! I have never played prime 3, but did you try scanning it?

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - October 5, 2008 07:03 PM (GMT)
Unfortunately, I tried. it didn't say anything...
but, I still see the total relevance! the only question is...
How the heck does he fit his head in that thing???

StrafeHunter - October 5, 2008 07:05 PM (GMT)
Maybe, as was metioned before, Sylux is like the metroid prime, and that is its core essance...

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - October 5, 2008 07:19 PM (GMT)

eww... that means... eww...

nah.

maybe his head is like a transformer? does a little chro-chre-chra and then folds into a little thingy...

but, i will still stand my ground when i say THAT IS SYLUX!!!.

Gendreavus - October 5, 2008 07:24 PM (GMT)
Wow...I actually hate to admit it, but that does somewhat resemble Sylux. If my Wii were in working condition I would hook it up to my dad's computer tomorrow to get a proper screenshot, but it isn't, so that'll have to wait until after I get it fixed, which I'm hoping to get done tomorrow...

Sylux125 - October 5, 2008 07:41 PM (GMT)
I'm sorry, but I see very little/ no resemblance
however it does look somewhat like a spaceship, perhaps Sylux's spaceship
however I do see the shoulder pad resemblance. however, that is by no way a head, unless a blossom of red and yellow light can be considered a head.

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - October 5, 2008 07:44 PM (GMT)
the head is definitely a quizzical one. but, focus on the shoulders, collar, and collarbone, and you will see the sylux, sylux.
^_^
Sorry, couldnt help it ^_^

Dragon - October 5, 2008 09:00 PM (GMT)
Every monitor in Elysia can be scanned besides this one (though I haven't tried going into the huge room where you get the Boost ball yet). Whatever this thing is, I'm assuming it has something to do with the 100% ending.

fly_boy42 - October 5, 2008 09:48 PM (GMT)
Did anyone ever think maybe his actual head is below where the head of his suit would be put, and that that red/yellow thing on the top is where the helmet goes, and his head is under that?
I dunno, just thinking outside of the box, or head, as the case may be.

Spectre - October 6, 2008 02:03 AM (GMT)
That looks absolutely NOTHING like Sylux.. Not even the shoulders.

StrafeHunter - October 6, 2008 07:14 AM (GMT)
What is so eww about sylux being like the metroid prime... dark samus is...

Gendreavus - October 6, 2008 07:35 AM (GMT)
Dark Samus is like the Metroid Prime because Dark Samus is the Metroid Prime. MP1's 100% ending showed that.

Lucifuga - October 6, 2008 10:45 AM (GMT)
Hmm....*is impressed*
The shoulders do in fact resemble Sylux. But the so called head is what bugs me.
Let's split up and look for clues!

Dragon - October 6, 2008 10:56 AM (GMT)
They probably just put this in there to tease us like they did with the "Dread Nearing Completion" scan. It probably doesn't have any relevance at all, and if it were Sylux, why doesn't a single pixel in the game reference him or the Metroid Hunters story at all?

Spectre - October 6, 2008 01:23 PM (GMT)
Do you seriously think that looks like Sylux?

I mean...seriously? c'mon..
I agree with Dragon, it's probably nothing.

miles07 - October 6, 2008 04:07 PM (GMT)
Who freakin' knows, huh? If Ninty's gonna make the next Metroid with Sylux, then they should DO IT ALREADY!!!

StrafeHunter - October 6, 2008 04:19 PM (GMT)
QUOTE (Gendreavus @ Oct 6 2008, 08:35 AM)
Dark Samus is like the Metroid Prime because Dark Samus is the Metroid Prime. MP1's 100% ending showed that.

I know that... I was just proving my point... I have completed prime 100%... I beat the final boss for fun...

Spectre - October 7, 2008 12:26 PM (GMT)
Sylux's shoulders aren't even that straight..
They are slanted D:

miles07 - October 7, 2008 04:40 PM (GMT)
And longer. Right?

Sylux125 - October 7, 2008 11:18 PM (GMT)
Well, it could be just a random blur of colors and since all of us here are desperate for info for Dread, we interpret it as Sylux. but there is no way under the frickin sun that that is Sylux.

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - October 8, 2008 03:18 AM (GMT)
Hm...
If you look at the way sylux's shoulders are separated from his body, you will see a clue.

miles07 - October 8, 2008 04:08 AM (GMT)
Hehe... Long neck...
That's not Sylux, based on that little point. Maybe it's someone else with the same or "final" version of the suit. After all, didn't they Logbook entry for Sylux say that his suit is a stolen GF prototype?

OR maybe it's not Sylux at all.

In case anyone cares, the exact same "window" is visible in the room you fight the Security Drone for the Boost Ball upgrade. AFTER, of course, you save the AU. And after you take care of the SteamBots and the Steamlord down there...

Dragon - October 8, 2008 11:12 AM (GMT)
I heard from Daz on MP2D that it may be a space Pirate. Could make sense as a fraction of Skytown was under Space Pirate control.

Yeah, that too.

That is definitely not Sylux.

But it remains there even after the Leviathan is destroyed. And there's no other time we see Pirates in Elysia AFTER the Leviathan is destroyed...

hmm, possibly the GF could have more than one of those prototype suits, different looking/shaped/colored suits as well, and that ship at the end could be the Delano 8 or something..... It does open very similar to the Delano 7, but It just didn't fully match, so It could be the Delano 8 =P
