Title: Metroid Fusion Font

CuddleBunniezzz12 - January 19, 2009 04:44 AM (GMT)
For the past few days, I have been working to try to create the font from metroid Fusion. I would consider it done:

Some are invented, but most are from the game.

It's made as a font for Allegro right now, and I'm trying to get it into a .ttf font file so it can be used in photoshop or MS word.

I need to thank Quietus from metroid2002 for helping me get a few characters.

I plan on getting the international characters for this done soon enough.

Thanks to you and Quietus. This is going to be very useful. =D

Wow, this is one of the videogames fonts I wanted most without even realising. The only one I want more is the Descent font.

Isn't this available on M:FM?
*checks*
Nope, it's not. You oughta join there, Cuddlezz.

Metroid: Fan Mission. JOIN.

If you want to use it, there is no credit required... so go ahead =P

Update on the .ttf

Is going very slowly, should be available by the end of the week.

Sometimes it seems like everyone here is an artist...Then I remember me...

I wouldn't say a sprite ripper is an artist.

Well, just uploaded to M:FM.

Dear god, it took me about 10 minutes and about 50 tires.

Actually, I'm gonna have to agree with you, Fly Boy. Sprite rippers by themselves aren't artistic, 'cuz they don't exert any effort in making their own sprites. If you make your own sprites (custom-work), then you're an artist.

making your own sprites from scratch is harder than drawing, unless you have a program that pixelizes things

CuddleBunniezzz12, It took you 10 minutes and 50 tires? What were you doing with all those tires?

The problem with the M:FM system is that it's not really user friendly for newcomers like me.

If you have an upload error it will only tell you one thing that is wrong, not multiple errors, and when you reupload, it deletes all the things you have set for the upload (text, flie, sections, etc.).

M:FM is were i get my sprites for my Metroid comics. The only bad thing is that i have to put their names on my comics, just to be on the safe side.

Unless you rip/make the sprites yourself, or else if the sprite sheet itself says "No credit needed". Like Infinity's End. Sometimes.
