2d for freaking DS or GCN. For one of the consoles I DID waste my money on and am severely pissed about becoming obselete.

I say 2D for the DS.
They need to have a comeback for metroid, and the DS is the perfect way to do it since quite a few still have a DS, the DS is portable giving people a better reason to go for it, and DS games are generally cheaper.
A 2D for the Wii would either need to be high in graphics (Not likely) or be freaking huge (Possible, they would probably weigh it down with movies) with all of that extra disk space compared to the DS.

I have to say 2D. Any 2d. While I am generally terrible at sidescroller shooters, I have had a more enjoyable experience with zero mission and fusion than I have with the prime series.

I say either 2D/2.5D on the DS, 3D on the Wii, or 2D on the Wii.

That garbage happens to contain one of my favorite games ever.

Last I checked, duct taping two gamecubes together do not cause it to gain internet access, motion sensitivity, interactive menus, etc.

I'm not really "flaming" the wii. I just think that for a home console it coud have done a lot better.

The 360 and PS3 easily beat the wii when it comes to both games and functionality. Yet people still think the wii is the greatest console ever.
As for the motion sensitivity, it's really not enough. Not for me at least.
Bottom line, the wii just sucks. Not because it has kids games or a kid-friendly feel, because it could've been way better.

And who browses the internet on their wii? I'm sorry but that's just stupid.

Yeah the ps3 is great, if you like fps games and nothing else, even a piece of toast has more variety.
