Here are the maps on VGmaps, and here's the topic on the discussion board.

when I first saw it (looked at them about a week ago) I thought it looked kinda cool and awkward... a ridley chozo statue boss-thing?! and they stole my idea of taking off the legs of the fusion ship :(

StrafeHunter - April 23, 2009 06:31 PM (GMT)
Hmm... Episurfa looks a lot like my plan for Metroid: Infinity's first area...

DarkSamus - April 24, 2009 06:13 AM (GMT)
Ah, I hate ZM sprites ><

Nice april fools joke xD

fly_boy42 - April 24, 2009 06:26 AM (GMT)
If only, if only.
Remember guys I still like metroid, I'm not just here to steal your chips

ProtoTroid Gamma - April 24, 2009 12:50 PM (GMT)
Yes, as cool as they are, I wish the were real. Well, cept those bosses which don't fit at all, but eh.

HistoryEater - April 24, 2009 12:58 PM (GMT)
hey, kenji, does this give you any ideas?

Dragon - April 24, 2009 02:34 PM (GMT)
Even for a fake it looks extremely amature. Bosses look like they're stolen from other games, he mixes Super Metroid and Fusion / MZM sprites, and the ship looks horrible as well. I think I'd kill myself if this were the real MEtroid Dread.

Since when has Nintendo ever been cheap when it comes to Metroid?

... Erm, never mind. I rest my case.

well said Miles, well said.
PS Dragon, when is the next REAL Metroid Dread coming out?

Miles07 - April 24, 2009 09:06 PM (GMT)
Never, most likely. >_>

sadly, this is true. But we must wait for a new game.

OR miles can use his time machine to go further than 2 years in time and then come back with the next release date.

We'll leave harvesting the 1.21 Jiggawatts to you fly_boy...

I'm still hoping that once the New Play Control versions of Metriod Prime 1 and 2 come out, Retro and Nintendo will work on some original games. I'm really looking forward to the new versions of the MP games, but I know that a wholly new adventure would please many more people in many more ways.

If I could, I would. Then again, I might just also stay there/then, playing it until I beat it 100%, then jump forward AGAIN to the NEXT release, and then play that.

Just kidding. I'd come back with the date.

StrafeHunter - April 26, 2009 09:03 AM (GMT)
Why not just bring us the game?

BPac21 - May 9, 2009 08:36 PM (GMT)
Even if they may look bad, and there are weird bosses such as that one at the bottom of Nethjust, it would probably be fun if we could play it.
