In light of the new Metroid game, and all the complaining about not being able to play it, I'd like to see exactly how many people here actually own a Wii, and how many people wrote it off as a useless system that will never have anything hardcore on it.
This way we can also direct the whole wii complaints from more important topics to here.

I got one on the release day, as Luigi. 4th in line.

I got mine on the day Metroid Prime 3 was available in stores... after I bought the game itself. Since then, my library of quality titles quickly surpassed that of my GameCube one: things like Excite Truck, Super Paper Mario, Wario Land: Shake It! and Punch-Out!! to name a few.

I also got mine release day. And I remember Gen telling me that you and him were dressed up for it too. <_<

I had a Wii, but I sold it when I got bored of Brawl (which I also bought before the Wii) for the full price to a friend. I'll most likely get a used one when The Other M comes out if I can, and get MP3:C while I'm at it.

However, I do still have a Wii Remote.

I got a Wii at the same time as I got my DS, it was a few months before the release of MP3...

HE was dressed up. I was in normal people's clothes.

Honestly, I think that waiting in that line was about as much fun as playing on the Wii when I got home was. It was a party beyond belief.

And fly_boy did his best to sleep through it :P
