Ok so here everyone (me first of course) can post their manga/anime drawings , if you have any that is.
I´m still new to the hole drawing thingy so don't expect to much either also i haven´t begun drawing my own manga yet instead I just draw from my favorite animes I watch or mangas I read.

Also right now I only got my Naruto drawings done, more will come of course for those that are interested. Also I only do black and white with a regular pencil and my eraser. No colors, I like it more that way since you gotta be good with shadowing and such.

You might even give me a request/tip on who to draw.

Have you ever watched gintama, your drawings remind me of that show.
It's an okay show, a little vulgar, but its much better anything else shonen jump's got.

you should draw Neuro from Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro, he is a very interesting character, one of my favorite characters. too bad there were only 25 episodes =( it was one of the only shows I would watch. (I don't watch TV, but something about the anime made me like it.)

Try these recommendations

You could try drawing MM or Miles, or like I said, gintoki from gintama
It seems that most people consider gintama to be the only anime from shonen jump that's actually worth caring about, and if you like naruto, then you should love gintama.

oh wow, why dont you draw more often?
I mean, I've been drawing nonstop for a while now, and I'm not that good.
If you'd like, I could get some mafia to muscle you into drawing. You'll have nothing better to do than draw once both your legs are broken

I guess I don't have time for drawing with all the other things I'm doing, Drawing is like a secondary hobby that I do from time to time when I feel like it. It's always characters from animes/mangas or games though.
I also never thought I was that good anyway. ^^
Well I've been feeling like drawing lately so I will probably throw up a new one soon enough.

I just recently started doing this in Paint.Net, Im not sure about the first one, but I like how the second one came out (well, not sure about the glasses though).

They look awesome Kenji, keep it up and you might end up in anime business. As for my Ulquiorra drawing I have to say I´m quite pleased (proud) how it turned out, At first I didn't add the whole helmet and skipped the horn. I decided to add them later though.

Ohh and thanks for the positive feedback everyone. I'll try to start drawing more then I do these days, next up in line is Lucy/Nyuu from Elfen Lied. I'll try to get them both up here at the same time.

If I could make a suggestion, the shading is sort of light. It may accent it better if it was darker shading, highlighted by a few lighter spots. Otherwise the shading is quite good.
Im more of a realism/surrealism sketcher

Man your drawing is awesome Sylux, I especially liked the "cliffs" parts and the scythe.
Deeper shading you say? Well maybe your right, I´m kinda inexperienced when it comes to drawing but if it looks better with deeper shadows then I'll try it out.

I'm doing a drawing of Lucy from Elfen lied right now, I think it will take a while to get it done since I got so much stuff to do in school at the moment.

And everyone don't be afraid to post your drawings here, no one here is going to sit laughing at it, we will just say what we think can be improved and what parts where good. Same thing with me, apparently my shading was a bit to light.

I would like to ask, what kind of pictures are you favorite to draw?
Mine would be just like the ones I´ve posted here, drawings of my favorite chars in different animes etc. You could say that portraits is my favorite style.

Man Dialga would be so awesome if you shaded it, a good work indeed.
Samus isn't really an anime drawing but it looked good to, I think it might have looked better without the colors and just shading instead.
Could be just me being a fan of black and white drawings (meaning just shading and no colors). I can't draw with color so good and I also think shading looks much more neat and skillful.
In any case, good pictures that could have been better if shaded, In my opinion of course.

Well, your coloring is a bit rough Serris. I dont know how to color so I cant give you tips on how to improve.

Meh sure it can, I mean it doesn't matter that much what kind of drawing you post here, as long as it's a character I guess.

Yea Kratos looks good, to bad his face gets so small that some details can be hard to put in the picture etc, its a bit hard to see that it´s actually Kratos, But other then that its awesome.

Itachi huh, I´m looking forward to it. I´m thinking of redoing him since my last attempts have been "failures", well more like not as good as I can make it.

It seems everyone is better than me...well I guess I need to practice more.

well, for me, im pretty good at shading AND good at coloring but i cant draw too save my life. so serris, when you color, you dont want to color individual sections solid colors, you also dontr want to try and shade with two colors at first, wait untill you have shaded using one color utensil. that is key, start shading with ONE pencil and get all the color shading with that one color in a specific section or area. then add the second colors shading. hope this helped.
