Hello, MHQ members! Glad to present you my new fan project "Metroid: The X-Child" (well it's 7 months already)! This fan game is something like a "Metroid Fusion" sequel, through my visions! The game is not about Samus Aran herself but the future of B.S.L. station(events after station explosion)! We meet a new hero, creature, born of a horrible mix, patrially of the x parasites! But you will meet him later, in the 2-nd part of the game.
Currently I'm working on the 1st part, which is also a tech demo. This part will present us another hero, an Earth representative...

I remember seeing this earlier. I like how your progress is going. But the graphics make it look like you're making it on flash. :P

What's wrong with flash, sure, I don't know anyone who uses actionscript 3, but acctionscript 2 is pretty fun

Eh(*sign*), I see not so many people like flash graphics. Yeah, I tried to make this fan game in Flash first but there was a lot of issues with using A.S. and graphics economizing. Now I use engine that supports dx9, you can check one of my little exes on my blog page, there's a link in June News! Post #2 to test whether your engine will meet my fan game system requirements.

No, I never said Flash was bad, but they're good. They just look to flash, and the artistic style doesn't seem to go with the Metroid Series. But I love it.

Thanks man but I think you're right(they look too flash'y), I must make a better version. Maybe I'll make a 3D model or something more detailed than this variant, one of guys in my blog gave me that idea.
