Title: Freakiest/Chilling moments

Deadly Aim - February 19, 2005 04:07 AM (GMT)
Mine's when your in the elevator, and the SA-X cuts the power, leaving Samus alone in the dark, stuck in an elevator. When that happened, I was quite freaked out and the words I used to describe was:

:ph43r: "WTF?"

brrr... still kinda chills me.

Gendreavus - February 19, 2005 04:37 AM (GMT)
That part freaked me out as well. For such a bad Metroid game, you need to give it it's props on the chill factor. It took me about three minutes to figure out what to do when the elevator stopped. That was actually when I discovered the wall jump, as I was trying to figure out some special way of jumping out of the elevator.

*vanishes*

Anubis - February 19, 2005 05:20 AM (GMT)
I thought it was some sort of bug and I thought how much a sucker would buy the game from me but nooooo it was part of the game...damn game testers.

Deadly Aim - February 19, 2005 05:31 AM (GMT)
Same goes for the first view we get of the SA-X. I mean when I first saw it, I was thinking,"Okay... If then that was Samus going down the elevator, then who the hell was that that just blew a freakin' hole in the wall?"

ME! Or SA-X...... ;) But the chill factor is one of the pluses of the game. I still think they coulda done better on Fusion though......

Gendreavus - February 19, 2005 05:19 PM (GMT)
The only reason I didn't freak out there was because I read the instruction booklet from cover to cover three times before I started playing, so when the SA-X came, I was all "hey, that must be tha SA-X thing."

*vanishes*

Samus Oran - February 19, 2005 11:43 PM (GMT)
I was the opiset! I heard of SA-X and thought it was her, then read the instruction book!

Dragon - February 20, 2005 04:34 PM (GMT)
I was freaked out when the SA-X busted threw the wall when you
went down the elevator. When it looked at you it was kinda freaky
the first time I played it. Im not a wimp though,
I watched the grudge and never jumped or twitched durring the whole movie!

Gendreavus - February 20, 2005 06:20 PM (GMT)
...Never seen the grudge...I've barely seen any scary movies.
*vanishes to see the Sixth Sense for the first time*

Deadly Aim - February 20, 2005 06:21 PM (GMT)
Yeah, well I guess fusion's one of the games that is not a good candidate for those of us that like to game late at night. Especially with the SA-X, which is one of the game's elements that give you the feeling that its stalking you...

I remember the time it popped up in sector 6... I barely got to hide in time before it entered the room! It was as if you hear its theme playing, then it just pops in from out of nowhere!

Dragon - February 20, 2005 07:16 PM (GMT)
Yeah, freaky. :P
But the whole Evil Clone thing is getting old.
The SA-X is in Fusion, Dark Samus is in Prime 2.
Come on people! Make a diffrent character for once!

Anubis - February 20, 2005 10:45 PM (GMT)
I like the dark clone deal, put up a mighty good fight in Oracina of Time, that was my favorite boss. Not like gandy, it was like playing baseball(wich was pretty cool).

Gendreavus - February 20, 2005 10:52 PM (GMT)
Gandy? Do you mean 'Candy' or 'Gendy'...or something else...I'm so confused

*vanishes*

Dragon - February 20, 2005 10:59 PM (GMT)
He means Ganon off of the Zelda series.

Samus Oran - February 20, 2005 11:16 PM (GMT)

Samus Oran - February 20, 2005 11:21 PM (GMT)
Hm, SewersOFZebes said he likes this stuff, I'll try to find him! *Runs away to find SewersOFZebes and let him join us in kicking gandy*

Deadly Aim - February 20, 2005 11:49 PM (GMT)
MUST... KICK... GANDY!!!

:Goes to Join Gendreavus and SO in kicking whoever the hell Gandy is:

Anubis - February 21, 2005 01:07 AM (GMT)
Ganandorf, thats what I been accustumed to call him whenever I remove his sad life from any sort of videogame world.

Dragon - February 21, 2005 04:35 AM (GMT)
I want to kick him too!

*Joins the party and starts kicking Gandy.*

Gendreavus - February 21, 2005 07:18 AM (GMT)
Wow, we have almost all of the active members of the fourm kicking Ganondorf...that must hurt one heck of a lot more than that wimpy Master Sword...ouch.

*vanishes*

Deadly Aim - February 21, 2005 02:59 PM (GMT)
D**n straight, it does!

Dragon - February 21, 2005 05:00 PM (GMT)
Or the light arrows!

*Starts kicking Gandy with iron boots*

Samus Oran - February 22, 2005 12:12 AM (GMT)
Soon he's gona run to Link and beg for him to kill him............ To end our pain..... *kicks somemore*

Deadly Aim - February 22, 2005 12:57 AM (GMT)
Let's turn it up a notch, shall we?

"Begins dropping bowling balls on gandy while kicking him even more:

Gendreavus - February 27, 2005 01:10 AM (GMT)
I just realized how stupid/freaky/chilling it would be if somebody saw this in the game. All these random people kicking the crap out of a character not even in the series...yeah, scary/freaky/chilling/stupid...

*vanishes mysteriously/freakily/chillingly*

Dragon - February 27, 2005 02:46 AM (GMT)
That would be scary!
*starts whacking Gandy with a steal bat*

Samus Oran - February 27, 2005 03:58 AM (GMT)
Samus walks down an ally, about to save when a monster attacks! She doges its attack and fires her own. It hits. She doesn't bother to save, and goes to the next level when suddenly she sees a number of people kicking someone! And one of them looked like a ghost............. She asks,
"What are you doing to that man?"
They look right at her, say there bord of Gandy, and want boundey hunter and launch at Samus! Shes outnumbered, she dies, getting gameover, and because she didn't save, she has to start at the begining!
Hows that for a story? Becides stupid...... :P

Dragon - February 27, 2005 05:22 PM (GMT)
Yay! But wouldnt it hurt kicking that suit armor??

Deadly Aim - February 27, 2005 09:51 PM (GMT)
"OWWW!"

:hobbles around on one leg, swearing at Samus from the pain he is in.:

Well I guess there will be a 6-way lawsuit here.

MetaSamus - June 1, 2005 04:45 PM (GMT)
I think a freaky moment was when I shaved gandy's back hair..

Anubis - June 1, 2005 04:48 PM (GMT)
You told me you enjoyed it.

MetaSamus - June 1, 2005 04:53 PM (GMT)

That was a freaky/ chilling moment. unless you like porn and stuff. Witch is most of us. -_- <_<

Anubis - June 3, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
Leisure Suit Larry I think is what its called.
Japanese and U.S. culture differ largely. What some considere perversion might not be seen the same as somewere else.

MetaSamus - June 4, 2005 12:53 AM (GMT)
Yeah, In japan sex is their culture.

ridley4 - June 5, 2005 06:08 AM (GMT)
i tihnk the whole game kept me scared, always thinking somthing would jump at me,it was as if i was always hearing the SA-X theme.like the time when you had to use the power bombs in order to escape, and even then youll be chased

Dragon - June 8, 2005 03:13 AM (GMT)
I didnt think that game was scary at all. It surprised me when you first see the SA-X in the cutscene and it looks at you. Wierd!
