dark-wraith gunner - September 8, 2005 03:27 PM (GMT)
super metriod is just to hard for me when it comes to finding my way. does anybody have some genie codes?
Anubis - September 8, 2005 07:55 PM (GMT)
I do.
Don't use it, ruins games.
Gendreavus - September 12, 2005 12:00 AM (GMT)
Just tell me where you are and what you just got and I can steer you in the right direction.
And yes, Game Genie/Action Replay/Game Shark codes do have a tendency to screw up your game, so I would not reccommend using them if you're stuck. Just ask for help.
dark-wraith gunner - September 13, 2005 11:19 AM (GMT)
hey gendreavus, you forgot to vanish! any wat, i don't know where i am at all! i just killed that one boss where you use super missiles to knock him into the acid. after that i can't tell what to do.
Anubis - September 13, 2005 08:20 PM (GMT)
He quit the vanish deal since he thinks its childish...
Gendreavus - September 13, 2005 11:08 PM (GMT)
Crud! I stopped on Nintendo Realms and put it in my sig...maybe I should do that here...
Yeah...*gives Dark-wraith gunner a cookie*
Anyway, from there go out to the left and go as far down as you can. Eventually you'll find a room with some of those tiny flying fire guys and some rubble rocks on the ground. Power bomb them, and then go to the far right of the room, and run to the left. You'll build up a speed boost and break through a wall and hit a slope. Jump off of the end of the slope to do a monserously huuuuuuuge jump up to a ledge. Go through the door there to get the grapple beam. Once you get the grapple beam make your way to the top of the room and out of Norfair, into Crateria (basically just go through the long shaft in red Brinstar up to where you got the power bombs and then up that shaft into Crateria). Go to the right and across the water using the grapple beam to enter the wrecked ship.
*vanishes*

Here's a map:

Does that help?
MaxPwnage - February 22, 2006 04:09 AM (GMT)
Trust me, never use gamegenie on super metroid. Messes up the game in a heartbeat, and all the saves die.
miles07 - February 22, 2006 08:32 PM (GMT)
Yeah. You turn them off and they stay on. I turned on Hyper Beam when I needed to freeze enemies, and I couldn't get up the shaft! CRUD! So I retraced my steps and saved at the nearest Save Room. I then turned off the game and the codes, and I had the Ice Beam back for use!
Kraid 2 cool - March 3, 2006 11:47 PM (GMT)
Ohh, I think after Crocomire it's up to grapple beam then wrecked ship? right?
MaxPwnage - March 4, 2006 01:27 AM (GMT)
No, it's grapple beam, then X-Ray visor, then to the Wrecked Ship.
Kraid 2 cool - March 4, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
X-ray do you really need that? and does it work on phantoon? Wonder what happens.
MaxPwnage - March 5, 2006 03:04 AM (GMT)
It ain't needed, but is very useful.

| does it work on phantoon |
It is not a weapon.
Kraid 2 cool - March 5, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
Dude I HAVE finished the game, but what I ment was does it makes phantoon orridley visible for the moments they aren't?
MaxPwnage - March 5, 2006 10:43 PM (GMT)
Ridley: yes.
Phantoon: no.
Th x-ray just reveals what's there.

Ridley: yes. |
:koopa: Does Ridley ever go invisible?
Kraid 2 cool - March 8, 2006 08:29 PM (GMT)
As you step into the room he's invisible yes.
miles07 - March 8, 2006 08:55 PM (GMT)
For a few seconds, yes. But during the battle..? I don't think so... -_-
MaxPwnage - April 8, 2006 05:26 PM (GMT)
Actually, since you can hit his invisible form with a powerbomb, it is techinically in the battle.
dreadmaster - April 8, 2006 06:57 PM (GMT)
:samus: did you know that you can hit the mother brain with the hyper beam befor the metroid gives it to you?
You dont have to freez the metroids on the way there just p-bomb them and here is a link to my topic if GG Codes:
