Hyper_Shock12 - October 29, 2005 08:31 PM (GMT)
I know this trick where if you destroy the zeebetites you can leave the room and save
Anubis - October 29, 2005 10:05 PM (GMT)
I know a button called Edit. Pretty button likes to be pressed.
Emperor - October 30, 2005 12:06 AM (GMT)
I know a way to skip the screw attack.
But I don't have the game anymore so the details are fuzzy.
Gendreavus - October 31, 2005 07:34 PM (GMT)
Skipping the screw attack is actually very simple. Wherever you think you might need the screw attack you can just bomb around the area where the screw attack wall is and there will be a missile block somewhere around it. You can also skip the High jump, wave beam, charge beam, speed booster, varia suit (although it still counts as a % since you get it forced on you when you get the gravity suit), and power bombs...I think I may have missed some...not sure since I don't have the game with me right now....

Hyper_Shock12 - November 5, 2005 12:39 AM (GMT)

damn you guys are off topic.
:pickachu:
*smiley hates pika*
anyway i found a wall in the beggining of the game that you can walk through next to the morph ball, but you cant use this trick if you have the morph ball.
just stand against the wall, then press left and right at the same time. you slide right on through just like that!
:kirby:
*kirby is fun!*
Hyper_Shock12 - November 11, 2005 06:59 PM (GMT)

How do you press left and right at the same time on a control pad?...or were you using an emulator? I expect that glitches like that can happen since the game was programmed with the expectation that pressing left and right at the same time would be impossible.

Don't bother trying, getting the unknown item that is the varia suit is what triggers the Ridley fight, so unless you can figure out how to open the Ridley mouth without beating Ridley, it won't do any good.

Hyper_Shock12 - November 12, 2005 11:17 PM (GMT)
dangit :samus: I wish I could. how about skipping varia going back after you get gravity in chozodia?
Gendreavus - November 14, 2005 03:13 AM (GMT)
Once you get the gravity suit, the Varia suit triggers, meaning you get its effect, %, and the pickup is gone. It would be interesting to see what would happen if they didn't do it like that...

Hyper_Shock12 - November 16, 2005 01:59 AM (GMT)
yeah it would. but, they didn't.
who's they?
Gendreavus - November 16, 2005 09:53 PM (GMT)

*thinking if i should go see his website or not*
Kraid 2 cool - December 10, 2005 06:35 PM (GMT)
I don't get your freaking website. meyby I'm stupid :s.
Gendreavus - December 10, 2005 06:50 PM (GMT)
Just to let you know, there's an edit button on the top right corner of your post so you don't have to repost only three minutes after your last one. Thanks.
...and yes, Hyper_Shock, that was very off topic. Just a suggestion for next time, how about making a new topic in the General discussion forum rather than posting about it in some random part of the forums.

Kraid 2 cool - December 10, 2005 08:44 PM (GMT)
wow! there are alive people here......ehh.......Gendreavus is a ghost right.
KeNshin - December 13, 2005 09:54 PM (GMT)
here's a little trick I found when I was watching some speed runs. when you kill mother brain run up against her, it wil have the same effect as running on a straight course for a while so it wil trigger the speed booster. do the shinecharge thing and jump up to the second left most panel in the next room and shinespark up. You won't go al the way but you'll save like 5-10 seconds (which is a lot in the hard mode when escaping :P
Gendreavus - December 14, 2005 01:12 AM (GMT)
I know. It's so much fun! Blam, blam, zooooooom, skreeeeeeech, wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh!
*vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanishes*
Kraid 2 cool - December 15, 2005 05:03 PM (GMT)
but duh. That's not sooo fun or is it... ;)
Hyper_Shock12 - December 20, 2005 05:06 PM (GMT)
sorry, for previously being off topic. is there any way to skip space jump?
Gendreavus - December 20, 2005 06:15 PM (GMT)
Nope. Collecting the space jump boot's unknown item in Kraid makes the funny block destroyable, so no, you can't skip it.

Kraid 2 cool - December 24, 2005 04:28 PM (GMT)
To bad for if you where able to skip it you need to be good on wall jumping.
Like me ^_^
Gendreavus - December 24, 2005 09:08 PM (GMT)
Whenever wall-jumping fails, just bomb jump. I've gone through the game pretending I never got the space jump boots. It was fun.

But in chozodia, dat dosn't work right?
Gendreavus - December 27, 2005 02:49 AM (GMT)
What doesn't work?

KeNshin - December 28, 2005 11:19 AM (GMT)
if you're talking about chozodia having no way around the screw attack blocks, try laying a superbomb in the vicinity you'll notice some missile blocks.
