Title: Power Bombs or Screw Attack?
Description: Which pwns enemies better?

miles07 - January 11, 2006 08:45 PM (GMT)
Time to settle this once and for all. Which one of the above is the best weapon against anything in Echoes?

gammametroid - January 12, 2006 05:55 PM (GMT)
SCREW ATTACK SCREW ATTACK!! pwns everything its nice and handy to

Ridley=Pwner - January 12, 2006 07:15 PM (GMT)
No contest. Screw Attack wins.

Gendreavus - January 13, 2006 02:27 AM (GMT)
I like Power Bombs for the pure and simple reason that anything, and I mean anything caught in the blast's path either explodes or gets incinerated. It takes several hits from a Screw Attack to kill a Flying Pirate, only one from a power bomb. The only downside is your lack of ammo, making it so you generally keep your Power Bombs for walls or bosses...

Samus doesn't...nor does the ground...or any non-destructible parts of the scenery...nor do save/map/ammo-stations or Samus's gunship. Nor does U-Mos...nor do the Federation's corpses...must I continue?

miles07 - January 13, 2006 04:14 PM (GMT)
Yeah! They should make MP3 have fully-destructible environments. Or at least anything impacts the environment.

And Ridley, I thought you wanted the P.Bombs to win!

Ridley=Pwner - January 13, 2006 05:53 PM (GMT)
I voted Screw Attack to say...

SCREW YOU! HA HA HA! :lol:

miles07 - January 13, 2006 07:11 PM (GMT)
Ha ha. Very funny. Ha ha haaaa... <_< *more dry laughter*

Baby Drone - January 13, 2006 07:13 PM (GMT)
I voted Seeker Missile. Why? I don't know, but I did. Sue me.

Ridley=Pwner - January 13, 2006 07:22 PM (GMT)
Seeker Missile = + chance of hitting enemies. Can u have a Seeker Super Missile?

Nope. Sorry. Would be cool though, even though it would take about 25 missiles to use.

miles07 - January 17, 2006 04:42 PM (GMT)
Yes, Hyper_Shock. Screw Attack. You need to calm down... lay off the Splenda...

Ridley=Pwner - January 17, 2006 06:36 PM (GMT)
Splenda = 4 fat ones

No Super Seeker Missile :( ? :angry:

miles07 - January 18, 2006 04:25 PM (GMT)
A Super Seeker Missile might just be too much to ask for...
Try the Sonic Boom!

Ridley=Pwner - January 19, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
= less ammo
= more pwnage

miles07 - January 20, 2006 04:43 PM (GMT)

Wow, spamy forum... I love it. ^_^

Today at Serris' Restaurant:

"Fried Space Pirate with tasty phazon sauce and Mother Brains Brain Juice "

miles07 - January 24, 2006 08:28 PM (GMT)
Does it cause brain freeze? :o :mellow: :wacko:

SA.09.21 - January 25, 2006 01:49 PM (GMT)
Nooooo.... ?

You only get 4 eyes, 8 arms and 17 legs. Oh, and you maybe transform into a big, slimy monster.

miles07 - January 25, 2006 04:03 PM (GMT)
Concoction X is a rare delicacy made of X parasite membranes steeped in liquidized Preed gas. Careful though! It can cause stomach flu and boils... :wacko:

A spicy treat: Boil acid from Kraid and add liquified Ing. Add some Phazon sprinkles to make the taste last... :blink:

Gendreavus - January 28, 2006 12:19 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I think the Power Bombs pwn...wait a minute, that's not what we're talking about? Why not? I don't know. So much for logic and reason.

Hmmm... I don't really like the animations for Power Bombs and for Screw Attack... but the Seeker Missles are awesome!

Shigeru - January 28, 2006 09:03 PM (GMT)
I really enjoy using the screw attack.
Then again, in multiplayer, it's always fun to see two people shooting each other at close range, and then just roll by and drop a power bomb for 2 kills. :P

SA.09.21 - January 28, 2006 09:08 PM (GMT)
:lol:

Shigeru - January 28, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it's very amusing.

I do like Seeker Launcher, but I never use it much, so I'm not so sure how well it works against Space Pirates, or anything. I'm the type of person who conserves a lot of missle ammo.

Gendreavus - January 29, 2006 03:34 AM (GMT)
I'm the same way. That's my main problem with the seeker missiles, I'm way too conservative with my missiles to use them. In RPGs with PP and stuff, I always have to make sure that my points are all above 75% unless I've got some really good restoratives...How I ever get myself to use power bombs is beyond me, I just know they rock...

Shigeru - January 29, 2006 03:49 AM (GMT)
I don't use power bombs too much (in single player) either. Just about the only time I use them when it's not mandatory is when I'm fighting the Emperor Ing in his chrysalis form.

SA.09.21 - January 29, 2006 04:11 PM (GMT)
My problem is that I often hav no missles... and why should you use Seeker Missle? Super Missles are as strong as Seeker Missles and you can use them faster. I use Seeker Missle because it looks better and the game is, a little bit, harder.

Shigeru - January 29, 2006 05:10 PM (GMT)
So, you use Seeker Missles for a tougher challenge, and you like the animation for it more?
Interesting.

Kraid 2 cool - January 29, 2006 06:08 PM (GMT)
I love anhilator beam but screw attack is so cool.
Please anhilator don't hate me.

sheegothhunter - January 29, 2006 06:11 PM (GMT)
i like screw attack, and i especcially admired nintendo for including it in metroid prime 2. i really hope to see it again in mp3.
