I like Super metroid also. It's one of my favorite games on the SNES (along with Super Mario RPG, legend of the seven stars), my favorite 2d metroid game, and my favorite 2d game over all.

Agreed, super metroid rocks, its the best in the series hands down, and my favorite SNES game next to Super mario RPG and Chrono Trigger...its long, its fun and challenging, and there are no hints or navagation rooms to limit exploration.

when i was like 6 and i would come home from school(at that time i wouldnt do any of my homework XP) I would stick my face on the TV and play Super Metroid I passes my first SM game(as in the little game saves in the menu) when i was like 6 and a half.......:) after that i couldnt stop it was addictive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
