Hence the title What Do You Think of Light and Dark Aether....I like Light Aether better. I love the Luminoth and their view on the good side. I just feel sorry for them having to fight the Ing for almost 80 years and are loosing. Thankfully Samus showed up when she did. I like Dark Aether, but the creatures...I would rather run into a spider nest than a group of warrior Ing.

Shrander - June 1, 2006 12:42 AM (GMT)
I would like to run into a whole group of ing!!!

*Pulls out vacuum and empty jars originally made for jelly*

Phazon Dragon - June 1, 2006 12:47 AM (GMT)
Ha Ha, thats funny...make Ing Jelly.. If I had a light beam I MIGHT not mind, but...those things are merciless.

Shrander - June 1, 2006 01:08 AM (GMT)
Just make sure the vacuum stays on suck..if it blows, there will be a huge army of ing that come out, ready for a bit o' revenge.....

Phazon Dragon - June 1, 2006 01:10 AM (GMT)
And I got a feelin that revenge won't be too good...

miles07 - June 1, 2006 03:44 PM (GMT)

Shrander - June 1, 2006 04:21 PM (GMT)
[voice=Gandolf]They shall not pass![/voice]

miles07 - June 1, 2006 05:27 PM (GMT)

*Waits for the sword of light to start doing its job and cut up Hyper_Shock12's stomach.*

samus arun <3 - June 4, 2006 10:04 PM (GMT)
the dark aether is the best because it is more complicated than for the light aether

samus arun <3 - June 4, 2006 10:07 PM (GMT)
the luminoth are hippies kill them they have been to good to long and deserve to have their "peace" destroyed and even though that sounds creul it is the truth...destroy the truth...destroy the truth

Phazon Dragon - June 6, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
I wouldn't mind seeing the Luminoth more in Light Aether. Although you speak to holograms, it still isn't the same.

Hyper_Shock12 - June 6, 2006 04:34 PM (GMT)

Shrander - June 6, 2006 05:23 PM (GMT)

Hyper_Shock12 - June 7, 2006 05:49 PM (GMT)

SpacePirate - June 20, 2006 05:27 PM (GMT)

Hyper_Shock12 - June 20, 2006 10:48 PM (GMT)
no, we go and send another phazon meteor to recreate dark aether, than team up with the ing, and the dark beam was the best beam that te luminoh created

SpacePirate - June 20, 2006 11:39 PM (GMT)
did the luminoth create the dark beam?

Shrander - June 21, 2006 12:55 AM (GMT)
well ya.........how could a dark blob that kinda looks like a puppy do that?

Gendreavus - June 21, 2006 05:43 AM (GMT)
QUOTE (SpacePirate)
did the luminoth create the dark beam?

The Luminoth began experimenting with the dark matter found in the other world, eventually discovering a way to use the energy as a projectile weapon. Hoping to use this new technology to destroy their dark foes, they began an attack on the Dark world, immediately having their behinds handed to them. As it turned out, the Dark beam they had created was not very powerful against the creatures of the Dark world at all. Later, when Samus discovers this weapon, she finds a good use for it. Although it does not affect Dark creatures much, creatures of the Light world, including enemies like Space Pirates, were seriously injured by it. When charged up, the Dark beam shot a mass of the Dark energy in the form of a large glob, rendering any enemy struck with it immobile for a short period of time. Also, when combined with missiles and the Charge beam, it created a temporary miniature black hole which would suck in any enemies unfortunate enough to be near it. The beam needed to be recharged with dark energy after being used long enough, as the arm cannon is not capable of creating its own dark energy.

After the failure of the Dark beam, the Luminoth scientists had a brilliant idea. Why fight them with their own world's element when they could use what was right in front of them? So began development of the polar opposite of their previous weapon. Not long afterwards, the Light beam was created. This weapon was like the Plasma beam in many ways, able to pierce through enemies, potentially set them on fire, and very few Dark creatures could stand up to a charge shot. The Luminoth especially liked it because although it immensely damaged Dark world creatures, any inadvertant friendly fire would barely be noticable by the recipiant, as its effect on Light world creatures was minimal. When Samus finds the beam, her charged shot fired a scattershot of up to ten Light projectiles, able to damage multiple enemies, or home in entirely on one. Like the Dark beam, the Light beam also needed to be resupplied with energy after using it.

Even with the tremendous success found in the Light beam, the Dark creatures were still gaining ground on the Light world, steadily stealing the planetary energy which was the only thing keeping it in existence now that the Dark world had grown so powerful. The Luminoth scientists were desperately trying to find some amazing power that would stop their enemies in their tracks. They did find such a weapon, however it was sadly too little too late. Soon after its development, the weapon was stolen, as well as another large portion of the Light world's planetary energy, forcing the Luminoth to take refuge in the sky with the last of their planetary energy. The scientist behind the weapon called it the Annihilator beam, and rightly so. The beam's idea was scoffed at at first, as it was made by combining both light and dark energy. Many of the scientists believed that the two would simply negate each other, launching absolutely nothing at all. In actuality, the two forces complimented each other, dramatically increasing the weapon's firepower and effectiveness against both Light and Dark world creatures. It also had some sonic properties, creating a distinct soundwave that would react strangely when used on certain objects. Combining with the Charge beam and missiles fires a powerful sonic boom, charged with both the light and dark energy.

That's a small blurb from a website I had to write for my web design class. The topic was 'A site of your choice with some educational content,' so I did The Tools of Samus Aran. It's pretty sweet.

*vanishes*
