Title: Rules regarding spoilers
Description: READ!
Gendreavus - June 2, 2006 03:18 AM (GMT)
I would like to set down a few rules here that I think should apply to any and all un-released or fresh on the market games. Spoilers of any kind whatsoever, MUST be marked with a spoiler tag somehow.
If it is a topic, please mark SPOILERS in the "Topic description" box (the one right below the topic title). If the spoiler is in a post not already in a spoiler topic, place the *spoiler* tag before the spoiler, then change the font color to gray. If someone wants to read the spoiler they can simply hilight it. Also, discussion of spoilers must also be done in the gray font.
As far as what deciding what a spoiler is, just use your best judgement. If something is new to the game/series, chances are it is a spoiler. If something is returning, but unexpected, consider that a spoiler unless it directly has to do with the game's basic beginning plot.
Thanks!

Emperor's Edit: Moved to General Metroid Discussion as a general rule about spoilers.

but we dont have a spoiler tag.

Then just put spoiler in the topic title, or as he said, make the text grey.

Sorry, by spoiler tag I meant marking it with a *spoiler* before the gray text so that people know that there is something to hilight.

I've found a spoiler tag code.

I know this bump is a year-long, but SA here actually has a good tag code for spoilers. Since the Gray-text thing won't work quite well anymore (unless you do [color=111111] every time), a Spoiler tag would actually not be a bad idea. It's the same one from the old A-04 forum, right SA?
