Title: A small "hole" in the game
Description: Anybody ever notice this before?

When you first start the game, you land your ship on crateria. As the prologue is displayed, you hear samus running. After you finish reading the prologue, you start out in Brinstar. The thing is, is that you don't start out with any upgrades, but you need some upgrades to get back up to crateria. So my question - how does Samus get from Crateria to Brinstar without any enhancements to her suit?

What happened was (If you imagine the path she took), she entered the door to the left of the ship, then went down and right, then found the elevator. While she was going down, an earthquake makes a cave-in and shorts the elevator. She falls, and the passage up above where the real game starts gets sealed.

that makes sence, cuz I noticed that to, and another thing could have been she had five missiles, and used e'm on the rocks, because she could

But she can't refill her missiles, since she didn't have any tanks.

actually there are some scret passages if you look where ship is Diagnolly going left there are speed boost blocks right there if you can break them you eventually get a powerbomb i have tried this but i cant do it its hard!

Off topic: just curl into a ball, place your self on that rock to the right of the ship(ohh, start off running in the elevator room from Norfair-Crateria), you'll need power bombs for this.

And that earthquake theory maks some sense.

I'll look into this...

wait, i think i got it, after samus goes to her left, a mini-earthquake starts from the landing of her ship! then as the elevator shorts out, you go down the shaft with a bunch of tough rocks coming behind you, you land down and all the rocks pack up into the ceiling before the can reach the ground, sorta like how a buch of people rush into an elevator and can't get through!!!

Probably Samus used TAS to get there.
