Well seeing as this is the first rp in a looong time I guess I'll sign up..with my only character..

Due to an accident in his researches he was outcasted by the space pirates and spends most of his time attacking space pirate facilities.

(Now that someone has signed up, we can begin! :o)

As I entered the mesosphere, I gazed down at the Tallon Overworld. I found a flat area with a small lake and a waterfall and set down there. I got out of my vessel and began examining the surroundings. There were signs that there was recent Pirate activity, so I explored the immidiate area, only to find a crashed Space Pirate Frigate. I spotted a Space Pirate nearby, and ducked for cover. *TAG, anyone*

In the same pirate frigate that SM-X had spotted was Darke and several other researchers...
half of the frigate was underwater, and many were trapped inside with no hope of escape..
After establishing were they had crashed several of the researchers, includeing Darke, and several troops went out to secure the area..
They hadn't spotted SM-X yet...

I saw several space pirates emerge from the Ice Beam hatch to the wreck, but thankfully, they hadn't seen me yet. I switched my Arm Cannon to Plasma Beam mode and took aim. I fired the cannon, setting one of the Pirates aflame. "One down, 9 to go..." I mumbled. *TAG, anyone*

As soon as the pirate caught fire and died the troopers around the researchers immediatly armed their weapons and began fireing were the shot had come from..
That's when Darke spotted SM-X and alerted the troopers where he was..

Seeing that they had spotted me, I quickly dispatched another 5 of them with a Seeker Missile Spread. Then, I targeted the one that had alerted the rest with a charged Plasma Beam shot, and got ready to fire...*Tag*

Darke sees SMX charge his Plasma beam shot and quickly jumps out of the way before activating his energy shielding..and chargeing up an anti-matter shot..

Status/Occupation: Defender of what remains of the Chozo.
Personality: Relentlessly defends the Chozo ruins against intruders. Infuriated by the Space Pirate's blatant disregard to the Chozo's remains, Gendreavus has already done quite a bit of damage against them. Other forces approaching the planet have called him to question his stance against all intruders however...

Gendreavus was investigating recent tremors when he sensed that there was a conflict in the overworld region of the planet. He immediately departed to find out whether or not it would end up involving him...

Seeing that this pirate was an equal match and reinforcements were coming, I quickly ran back through the landing site until I reached a canyon. I headed through the next two hatches to an elevator. As I reached the top, I saw familiar Chozo markings on the walls. I read the hieroglyphics, then continued to flee the growing Space Pirate forces. *TAG*

As Gendreavus approached the entrance to the Overworld, he spotted what appeared to be a modified Chozo battlesuit. Never! To the best of his knowledge the only Chozo to ever use them had been on Zebes, and they had been wiped out! Enraged at the blasphemy this intruder had caused, Gendreavus prepared to attack.

Seeing the Chozo Ghost, I quickly dove for cover, preparing to charge my power beam. I felt its presence strongly when I entered the room, so I knew it was there.

Gendreavus saw the battlesuit-clad warrior dive behind a nearby rock and saw the glow of its beam charging. Assuming hostile intent, Gendreavus immediately drew etheral energy to attack with.

Suddenly, the elevator room hatch opened and Space Pirate troopers began entering the room. Knowing my cover was facing toward them, I jumped out from behind cover and began blasting away at the Pirates continuously.
*TAG*

Seeing the Pirates enter the room, Gendreavus immediately shifted his focus to them, unleashing his energy blast on one of the pirates. He was surprised though, to see the stranger in the Chozo suit attacking the pirates as well. Not just attacking, but being attacked. Gendreavus continued to unleash his attacks, leveling the unsuspecting pirate forces.

As I fought alongside the Chozo Ghost, I soon realized that my suit's energy reserves would not last much longer. I soon released a small amount of Phazon ore into my arm cannon, encasing it in the venomous stuff, and firing blasts at the pirates, exterminating them quickly.

As many of the pirate troopers died Darke began fireing the anti-matter cannon at the chozo ghost and SM-X..
The battle raged on..until what appeared to be the hunter entered the room and began fighting the ghost and Sm-X along the pirates..which was odd..but darke didn't question it, yet...

I quickly regained my balance and transformed into a core-X, infecting my previous attacker. I soon returned to my former state and returned to fight the Pirates.

Darke takes not of SM-X's change and then switches to a dark cannon before pelting SM-X with it..

Noticing the incoming dark matter energy pellets, I quickly turned into morph ball form and laid down a power bomb, either killing or severely wounding anything within range.

(Dreadmaster, noone in this RP can be omni-powerful. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the "700% more powerful than Phazon" crap has got to go.)

Many of the pirate troopers die in the blast, though Darke manages to survive thanks to his extra shielding...they however go offline from the blast..leaving him vulnerable...

I soon took advantage of the said weakness of Darke and stunned him with a shock from my Wave Beam. I soon restrained him with the grapple beam and took him to my ship for questioning.

Darke struggles against the restraints all the way to Sm-X's ship..
"You..won't get away with this" he finally manages to say, trying to activate his radio and call more troopers in..

"It's useless." I replied. "I disabled it to prevent you from "Summoning the Horde." You can't escape, so deal with it." I threw him into the brig, then quickly activated the forcefield as I terminated my grapple hold.

"Arg" Darke gets up and tries radioing the troopers anyway, of course his radio didn't work..but it might have been a bluff...

"Now, onto the matter of why I restrained you..." I took off my helmet, to reveal myself as the experiment that escaped the Frigate and caused it to crash. "Why did you mutate me?" I asked menacingly, squinting my eyes.

(How'd you get in the ship?)

(You can't be everywhere at once! Besides, the ship's been sealed shut!)

(anyway back to Darke and SM-X)
"Hehe, so you want to know why?" Darke says, recognizeing SM-X for what he was

*eyes turn completely red and I telekinetically lift you into the air thanks to the phazon effects* "Yes, I want to know why. And if you don't give me a serious answer your head will be a stain on the back wall."

(then put you did that when you first post)
"Allright allright" Darke says hastily.
"Command, gave us orders to study the effects on certain parasites, the X being one of them..they hoped that phazon mutations would give the X higher energy levels, and a resistance to the energy draining powers of metroids" he takes a breath.

(...Dude, enough with the Zaphon already. And you can't be in the ship because you're still stunned in the Chozo Ruins entrance because of the X I forced into your system.)
I then released him and he fell to the floor. "You're going to help me stop them from doing this to others of my race."

As Darke falls..he says nothing...
"I can't go against command..." he was thinking..

"It's either that, or more torture. Your choice." A devilish grin then spread upon my face.

"Fine..seeing..as I don't have a choice here" Darke says..

I then lowered the forcefield and escorted him to the co-pilot's seat, which I heavily restrained, but not enough to constrict his airways. Just his movement. "Enjoy the flight." I said to Darke, as I fired up the Antimatter engines and brought the ship into the empty void of space.

"Command is not going to be pleased.." Darke thinks, unable to move..
"I'll probably be labeled a traitor..and then I might as well tell my research goodbye..stupid regulations.."

I smirked as I read his thoughts about being traitorous. Soon after my little telepathic espionage, I set a course for SR388 and landed us on the desolate surface. "You see this? The Hunter did this to us, and we aren't pleased. Very few of us survived, and most of the ones that did are being mutated by your people. How would you feel if the roles were reversed?"

Darke says nothing again...while looking around the desolate surface of SR-388.
The hunter was always causing the pirates trouble..and now this...he thinks.

"You aren't betraying your people. You're redeeming you and your people for all the suffering they forced onto us after the near-destruction of our homeworld. Don't you see? You may think this is wrong, but in reality, it isn't."
