Many wonder about Sylux. Hes so mysterious and dark. I often wonder about him. Everytime I see him I wonder. Hes also the favorite of many hunters fans. A big question of mine is....is he possibly human. I mean, you see human like hands in his artwork. Many specualate hes human, what about you? Does anyone here think hes human? Personally, I don't think he is. His yell gives it away to a certain extent. Hes one of my great favorites. Basically, in this topic Sylux is the star. Share your theories on him, why you like him so much and such. My reasons I like him is hes tough, hes big and I love his yell. Plus, his weapon is just...awsome. Definently a top rated hunter. And hes shrouded in wonder.

Sylux, I forgot what the game said what race he was, but it says the suit he wears was stolen Gfed technology, and same with the ship.

The game kind of ruins the, Samus is the only one with the power beam, kind of thing.

Sylux is just a character developed soley for MPH. I doubt
he will have any importance in the later games. What makes
no sense is the Chozo were the ONLY species who could
develope morph ball technology. Yet on MPH every single
hunter has Morph Ball, like it's a very common feature
among Bounty Hunters.

Dragon brings up a good point. Every hunter had a type of morph technology, even though other Metroid games clearly state that the Chozo were the sole developers of such technology.

Ah well, I guess they had to break the rules a bit for Hunters.

Sylux is cool and all, especially his suit, but I cant stand his weapon. In the game it is such a cheap weapon to use, and everyone uses it. Its so easy to kill enemies and such but oh well. I like the colors of his suit too, but I wonder why he hates the GF so much?

I hope that some of the hunters appear sometime in other games. I remember seeing on some forum that Weavel was supposed to be in SuperSmash Bros Brawl, but I dont know. It'd be nice if they added new metroid characters, and the hunters would make the most sense, being human shape. Hopefully we'll see some of them in SSBB

Trace, same as Noxus I think.

The powerbeam and armcannon are what makes no sense at all, chozo technology yet everyone has the same exact thing.

Sylux is not cyborg I think, he is just using stolen Gfed technology was in testing form. But how he is skinny enough to fit in that small suit, no one knows.

The strange thing is, there was this one star named Omega X and he slayed all of the people, and got in first...of course, he had maddening sniping skills, and pro maneuvers, but he still got the large slice of the cake.

yeah, I doubt you are good with sylux. One star players can evade any weapon or any alt form with lockjaw.they have to get one kill and they run for rest of the match.

I'm not a n00b like you describe, i'm a biped fighter, i usually don't use my alt form unless they try to run. I also use it for the center of combat hall.

Ahem, anyway I think Sylux's affinity weapon is waay too powerful, not to mention the whole health thing..maybe if it had a shorter tracking range it'd be better.

it DOES have a short range, and it takes skill to keep aim, besides, with an alt-form, you can zoom away from the danger.

Sylux is a distant relative to Samus. SHE hates the feds because they did nothing to stop the k-2l attack. Whereas many thought Sam to be the sole survivor, Sylux couldn't escape with "Old Bird" along with Samus.
She was eventually picked up by Gfederation rogues and they experimened on Sylux.

Once she found out the horror of the Federations true dealings, She came to hate them with such anger that she stole the prototype suit from Cylosis.

For someone with alleged "connections" you sure don't know your facts. The suit was designed by the federation to make suits that could equal Samus, they also developed the Shock Coil with it. In the opening movie of the game it says his origin is Cyclosis. Just FYI, I have connections to Nintendo, Retro, Pixar, and Disney through my dad. No BS, director of Renderman image technology for Pixar Animation studios. I go with him to buissness meetings in countries, I'm in extended school, I don't have to go to school and I go with him to see the world.

I don't doubt your statement, but 2 things are known by me about this game that contradict your post.

1. The armor is human designed, not alien origin.
2. You have no such connections if you don't even know that Sylux's suit's origins.

Anyway, I guess that Sylux is really a clone of Adam. A zombie of sorts, if you will. Think Shadow the Hedgehog. Sylux/Adam had a personality, but it was changed upon dying. Even after being cloned, he had no memory of his "past life" and ended up siding with whoever he woke up to.

Actually, I don't even think he's human. In the intro movie, he roars a sort of mechanical/reptilian screech. Freaky. Still, you'd wish Nintendo would clear it up a bit. Maybe in MP3C..?

In order to stop the boggeling that is your head, I'll run it down for you. At Pixar studios in America, they have a patented and very advanced imaging program called Renderman. Its used to make almost all the cool animations in most movies and video games. My dad, having worked with technology and stuff like that for all the companies he has worked for, he had good credentials, he was promoted to the buissnes director of Renderman. Meaning that he says who gets the product. As for me, I'm taking secondary high school for a year to get ready for college, since I am currently forced to be in America with my dad, and other times when I'm in his custody, I can go with him on his business trips, due to the fact that I don't go to American school. hmmm....Oh, yeah, I get what you're sayin'.

Depends, I've mastered the coil, and even if you had unlimited range, it'd be hard to aim, unless you master that too, and also, charge missles and explosives'll shake up your screen to make you lose your grip, repetitive charge missles from samus from even 1 person will kill you if you aren't smart, or they're stupid.

I used the charge missiles from long distance, so then they get a lock from halfway away, and by the time somebody they hear it coming, it's too late.
Always attack from behind. And here's another tip, when using the volt driver with Kanden, stay out long range, and charge and fire as fast as possible. And so if somebody turns and sees all those attacks coming, they'll panic and try to run away. Most of the time they run into a wall, get stuck and then get bombed. You can also used the cloud of aero Bombs as camoflage. And snipers hate that, they try to squeeze a shot off in you, but you're cleverly hidden in the big yellow cloud. Their lack of speed and turning while in sniper mode is their disadvantage.
