You might have noticed that your username now glows, the question is do you like it? (thanks MetroidMaster1914 for allowing me to post here, you will live on in our memory)

The idea's good, however only members who use IE can see the affects; and since the main part of everyone's name is now the same color, it causes a problem for users who don't use IE. So... I would reccomend this:

Make the text color for each group the color that the glow is, then make the glow color a darker shade of the text color (or even a different, neutral color), and lower the strength of the glow so that it looks something like one of these:

I know that they look more like shadows than they do glowing, but at least it solves the IE against the other browsers problem.

I'll consider that, but I'll do it if you can the affiliates to show up in FF. If you or anyone else can make that happen, then they will have earn a LOT of respect from me...

I like it, but a combo I really think is good is silver text with a black glow............:D

You must be going blind, the glowing text is all over the place, and it moves.

Fortunately I use Firefox. Don't like them that much. After a while they get a bit annoying. =|

Shrander, look at an admin's name for a long time and the glow moves. Less noticible on the white glow.

Oh, I see it for all but the white glows........it is certain pixels changing in shade and stuff.....from the looks of it, there are 3 animations for each letter's glow....

I like the glowing colors used for the names. If the colors are changed I hope the colors wont' be blue,grey, orange,yellow. I'm color blind to those specific colors. I won't know whos on. :P

I can see yours cause its black lettering and orange glow. It would be different say if it was orange lettering and yellow glow or orange glow and grey lettering.

Maybe that's the cause, just maybe. Are you sure you don't see the glowing names?

IE is the one that allows the viewing of glowing text, just stare at an admins user name and concentrate on where the orange pixels are.

what orange pixels? I see a black colored name. If I hold my mouse over a name it will become orange but that's not what you mean huh?
And I tried download that plugin to, but nothing changed.

now go to the bottom right corner of the screen and click the FF icon; it should change to an IE icon and the names should glow!
