So you want to play Hunters online, but you don't have WiFi at home. Lucky for you their are plenty of places providing WiFi.
You can always try
- McDonalds
- Airport
- Library, public or even a book store
- Parks
If you got no luck in one of those places the easiest way can be using a WiFi search site such as
http://www.jiwire.com/or
http://www.wifinder.com/One last thing you might want to buy is a WiFi hotspot locater/seeker keychain, the prices of these objects can range from $20-$70.
Here are some examples of these novelties

Or did your router even have a wep key? :P

To find my WEP key I typed my IP address into my address bar, then looked around my router's settings for it. The password for most routers is 'admin'
*vanishes*

When connecting to WiFi do you need to have Broadband or static IP?
SpacePirate - August 10, 2006 02:44 AM (GMT)
off topic: Your not aking for an apologize but I will, SORRY.
on topic: Dynamic? what do you mean? it's diferent or what?

nice =D, if I remember correctly Dynamic IP is like... switching IP right? one day its one the other day its another, because it can;t be the other, the other is Static IP... and a DN, nvm I am gonna blow my brains out X_X

This is why I have a problem with people who don't know anything about computers <_<.
Dynamic IP is IP that changes from time to time, meaning if you log on AOL or Netzero or something it will be for example '172.34.145.3' then if you log off and sign back on the internet it will change, so it changes daily.
Static IP is IP which will NOT change at all it stays the same like forever, you can get Static IP when you have a broadband or LAN Connection.
better?

Here is one thing to really watch for with routers, they have specified frequency types, like on the box it will say something like g, b, g/b, or something else like n.
The nintendo DS can ONLY connect through the b and b/g ones, so if you have a g only or some other type, it won't work.
Also, people at the nintendo wifi place have verified, that dialup does work fully, if you can't connect, it is from some other problem.

You wouln't consider this revive a dead topic would you?
Okay, my wifi was working. All of a sudden it stopped, all my info is correct, i go to the same error number in help and support, but all it says is test your connection.
Any ideas?

I have G/N but my ds works fine, maybe they fixed it for the DSi?
I PONDER1024 - June 20, 2009 06:23 PM (GMT)
Well, i don't know but i cant play hunters anymore :( I have the very very first first DS... before the lite.
Shrander - June 20, 2009 11:19 PM (GMT)
Possibly the router encryption?
If you have it set to anything but WEP or open, the DS can't connect.
If it is not that, maybe clear your DS's settings for the router and put them in again?

Okay, i found the problem... wrong WEP, but i cant find the one...
Strike-Freedom - July 17, 2009 01:59 AM (GMT)
Wow you don't need to find the WEP code!
Just enter a freaking password and it'll let you in on everything! If you don't know your own password, ask your parents or
If you have insecured network, simply connect and that's it -_-.
