Title: what's going to happen to samus now?
Description: samus now considered a terrorist read on
Omega Metroid adv - July 15, 2006 12:27 PM (GMT)
after she blew up SR388, Samus...from what i read from, hasn't been seen from and the GALACTIC FEDERATION knows that SR388 is blown up...from the causes of Samus. Why the GALACTIC FEDERATION asks? They now want to capture Samus and take her into questioning! What will they do to Samus?
What's gonna happen?
i really want ideas please. Also NO spamming, it's annoying, and don't go off topic.
Humor is gladly accepted. ANY kind, just not inappropriate humor.
I think that they will find Samus on Tallon IV and take her in...Samus doesn't feel like putting up a fight since she wants this off her neck.
They're gonna interrogate her by putting a chain on her wrists and ankles onto the wall, and doing the DASTARDLY TICKLE TORTURE to make her spill all the beans. :o
SpacePirate - July 26, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
I think Samus will kick their ass, anyway.
Omega - July 26, 2006 11:25 AM (GMT)
I think that if they do find her there all dead. If a pack of freakin Dark Splinters can wipe out a squad Samus will have no trouble.
SpacePirate - July 26, 2006 07:15 PM (GMT)
Yeah. The GF troopers sucks.
Omega - July 26, 2006 07:45 PM (GMT)
They have Semi-Automatic Power Beams and can't take out the weakest Darkling on Aether...
SpacePirate - July 26, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
I think the power beam is auto. That's why they always call Samus, when someone is kicking their asses. :P
Omega - July 26, 2006 09:12 PM (GMT)
Samus help! A pack of Large black Termites wiped out our troops!
Samus: Pay?
GF: Yes as much as you want! HELP!
Back to topic. They might destroy Adams mainframe.

For the last time Omega Metroid ADV SR388 NEVER BLEW UP! THAT WAS THE BSL, I said it in cylosis oonce already
Omega - July 26, 2006 11:27 PM (GMT)
There probably are remnants of SR388.
SpacePirate - July 26, 2006 11:29 PM (GMT)
They will destroy Adam's mainframe.
Emperor - July 27, 2006 12:02 AM (GMT)
To metroid Oracle: The BSL station hit SR388 and "wiped out" all the X, besides in the game they said it was destroyed. How can you fault someone for that?
Rewrite - July 29, 2006 12:53 AM (GMT)
SpacePirate@@: Adam exists inside samu's ship, not the B.S.L.
DarkMetroid@@: no no. I SAID THE BSL WAS DESTROYED... and I never mentioned anything about the X still being alive... I just said 1 thing about the BSL, so why did you come up with the X?<_<....
and BTW The BSL Wasan't large enough to destroy SR388, Its force was not strong enough, It burnt up somewhere in the atmosphere. The BSL was like the Moon compared to Jupiter... nevertheless whether it hit with A astroidous force the, impact still wouldnt have been strong enough to destroy sr388.
Astro-Physics suggest that the BSL would have to of been the size of at least the moon or something 1/4 its size... that still wouldnt have destroyed the planet, although causing A tremdous amount of atmospheric destruction and eradicating its Earth, it still wouldn't have destroyed SR388, destroying it, 'naturally' yes but not full...
SpacePirate - July 29, 2006 12:55 AM (GMT)
WTF?!!!! Adam is inside Samus' gunship.
Rewrite - July 29, 2006 12:58 AM (GMT)
*sigh* YES. Adamn is A compy thogh so dont go all like, 'XOMG'
dreadmaster - July 29, 2006 08:50 AM (GMT)
FYI see the ending at Metroid Fusion Adam Was in there!
Rewrite - July 29, 2006 08:18 PM (GMT)
......
Adam is A Computer! He doesn't exist as Matter. Dreadmaster..... if you are talking about when 'he' moves the ship then you are wrong, it clearly says, 'they helped me' .T________________________T <_<.....

DO YOU LISTEN! when you step on the pad, you hear:
PROPULSION SEQUENCE ACTIVATED, DESTINATION:SR388
THEN WHEN AFTER YOU BEAT THE OMEGA METROID THERE'S A MASSIVE EXPLOSION AT THE BEGINING OF THE GAME AT THE VERY FIRST TIME YOU TALK TO THE CO, YOU SEE SR388 IN THE BACKGROUND THEN AT THE VERY LAST TIME YOU TALK TO THE CO, IN SR388'S POSITION IS A BIG BLOWN UP PLANET!!! REMEMBER THERE WERE AUTO-EXPLOSIVES ON THE SPACE STATION, REMEMBER? THE CO SAID THAT WHEN SECTOR 3 WAS MELTING DOWN! IT COULD EASILY ACTIVATE THE AUTO EXPLOSIVES AND BLOW UP THE STATION!!!
!!!!!
SpacePirate - August 13, 2006 02:11 AM (GMT)
If I understand you said SR388 blew up. Nope, it was just the station. -_-

NO, WAIT, IT BLEW UP OKAY! JUST PAY ATTENTION AND IT'LL ALL COME CLEAR TO YOU!
Axion - November 7, 2006 05:01 PM (GMT)
Nothing is going to happen to Samus. Seriously, are you guys all nubs? How old are each of you? Christ sake.
The BSL Station blew up in a specific spot in orbit around SR-388, vaporizing its atmosphere. Adam specifically says that is what it would do, in the game. So yes, most of the the life on SR-388 perished because of this, if not all. You can even see at the end of the game when Samus and Adam (the computer inside her ship) fly away. There is a giant bright burning explosion behind them. I think the planet was destroyed.
And to add to the topic at hand, I do not belive that Samus will be outlawed or viewed as a terrorist. I mean, honsestly, Samus is the Federations greatests asset. Again, just like what was said at the end of the game, "One of them will understand. One of them must."
So, please people, pay more attention to details. If a continuation of the Metroid storyline is made, and a game that takes place after Fusion is created, I dont think you will be fighting the GF or anything. Personally I think a remake of MII RoS is at hand.
In my opinion another Metroid game that is after Fusion should bring a closure to the series. A last 2d Metroid game. Because frankly, I dont want it to get worn out like a song on the radio.
Oh, and .. edit : To the poster above me ... Please, learn to type in a more mature fashion. Your post makes me want to throw up. And fix your signature, it looks trashy. The link for your button down there is not typed correctly.
SCSoldier - May 8, 2007 12:31 AM (GMT)
You are correct. I saw some endings at Youtube (see them at your own risk) and it does say that someone will understand what Samus did. Except for the Mr. Mysterious GF Bigwig. There is one thing that confuses. Were Adam and Samus (when Adam was still flesh and blood) involved in a relationship? Please don't throw kitchen sinks at me for asking that!
Gearmaster - May 8, 2007 06:47 AM (GMT)
Hey there hi, your new here so I'll let you down easy. See those post dates? Notice how this topic was last replied to last november, as in before I was 17. Please refrain from topic ressing.

Hey there, hi. You see him adding to the topic in his bump? I do.
Axion - May 10, 2007 07:07 AM (GMT)
Yeah, really, he has a valid question. Anyone care to answer? I know I can't. I read a couple of fan fics based around an Adam - Samus relationship, but I have no idea about any of this. I never even heard of Adam before Metroid Fusion. Is there mention of him elsewhere, officially?
miles07 - May 11, 2007 09:24 PM (GMT)
Verdict: SR388 is too messed up for there to be any sort of a mission afterward there. Unless they want it to be a complete rip and tribute to Alien the Movie. And yes, it was destroyed.
Anyway, as to the possible sequel... I believe that it's left to the player to imagine... and for Nintendo to keep secret until it's released. Anyway, Samus and Adam (who is a computerized entity hooked into the Galactic Federation mainframe) must gain an ally and escape from the Federation... just so they can prove themselves loyal by... say... destroying every one of the Space Pirates. Or something crazy like that...
Think Sonic Adventure 2, with Sonic being an enemy to GUN and must prove himself loyal, or Mario in Super Mario Sunshine.
Hyper_Shock12 - June 22, 2007 04:02 AM (GMT)
I think that samus will go in willingly, and they will interrogate her bu then she won't cooperate. so they'll try to destroy her and she'll blas her way out using one shot of the ................................................................................................................
........................................................................................................................POWER FLOWER BEAM! it shots flower pedals.
miles07 - June 23, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
 You mean "
Flower Power" Beam? She's not a hippie!
Gearmaster - June 23, 2007 07:57 AM (GMT)
Or just "Flower Beam", shoots seeds that grow into constricting vines aruond the target.
That'd be cool.
I am a giant Nark.
Dragon - June 23, 2007 04:21 PM (GMT)
Samus made one mistaake, and by doing so pretty much saved the galaxy... Nintendo would never do such a boring and generic plot like, "Samus is running from the Federation and has to kill them and escape"
Gearmaster - June 23, 2007 06:23 PM (GMT)
Well....as MUCH as I'd love to see Samus blowing the hell out of the GF's, I'd like to see a more developed plotline, maybe they'd be coming for her and that secret man and his cronies would be mani[pulating the feds. OOH, what if some x clones were controlling the federation.
Dragon - June 23, 2007 06:36 PM (GMT)
IF the Federation wanted to kill her, I would think they would do something a little more. secretive. Like sending Samus on a mission they know is impossible to escape alive, maybe even trying an assassination. Note: The Federation would NEVER do this, I'm just tossing out ways it could be done.

Oh. My. God.
The X are gone, okay?! They are all blown to hell. Get that through your heads everyone. They would not end Fusion so epically if they were just gonna bring the X back. They would have left some kind of cliffhanger, or possibly do something like what Metroid Prime I and Metroid Prime II did with the Dark Samus secret cut scenes, or even (however much non related this is) how Metroid II : RoS had the Metroid hatch at the end. That continues the story. Fusion had the opposite, with Samus saying that they barely averted the destruction of the whole galaxy, the destruction of BSL and the near obliteration of SR-388 ... I mean, why would they end it like that, and not give any hint as to a continuation of the X plot line?
If you want to see parasitically controlled Galactic Fed's, go play Echoes.
<_<

Agree with the first part.
Agree with the second part.
Maybe not that third part. But...
Sure, maybe X parasites! I mean, maybe one escaped on board Samus' ship! Or maybe the vaccine wears off (doubtful) and they're released again?
Oh...
OH...
Oooooohhhhhh mmaaaaaannnnn...
What if Pirates themselves were controlling the Federation?
Dragon - June 24, 2007 04:15 PM (GMT)
Miles, did you not read Axions post? And I think this is getting rediculus. Axion has a point, Fusion ended in such a way that bringing the X back wouldn't really make sense. There are still many possible ways for them to have escaped the station, but I guess it's up to nintendo to see how the story goes on.
... Space Pirates controlling the Federation? I don't think that would ever happen..
Axion - June 24, 2007 10:01 PM (GMT)
Spot on, Dragon.
Now here is an idea for you all. What if the GFeds all ready knew that Metroids were the sole predators of the X-Parasites? That begs the question that if they knew, then did they puposefully send their top of the line hunter, Samus Aran, to get infected by the X so they could inject her with the Metroid Vaccine?
Or better yet, coupled with above, did the Feds also know of the X-Parasites abillity to clone and asexually reproduce? If so, was sending Samus to protect Biologic's research team just an effort to create an even more powerful weapon to use against the Federation's enemies?
And what kind of "Peaceful Application" could growing a diverse population of Metroids possibly be? I have a feeling that their intent would not have been so peaceful after all ...
These are the things Samus would most likely be running through her head.
Just let that sink in, and tell me if you were possibly thinking the same things.
Shrander - June 24, 2007 10:23 PM (GMT)
Though the X should kind of stop, what if those animals in the back off the ship were really X clones. It is possible. Right?
Axion - June 24, 2007 10:51 PM (GMT)
Well ... In my opinion, no. Because Adam specifically said that he scanned them and verified that they were not X hosts when they boarded her ship. I would take a screen shot but I can't really do that without my computer.
Shrander - June 25, 2007 12:13 AM (GMT)
Oh, I just didn't remember him saying that, but ok then. So the X are gone. Unless Nintendo tries to bring them back saying they managed to survive on another planet or something, but that would ruin a lot of the game series.
Dragon - June 25, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)
I am not sure if the Federation already knew about the X parasites. From the looks of it the Federation didn't know much about them, but as the infection spread throughout the station the Feds' started to become more interested in them, and I'm sure they wanted to capture them and use them as a weapon (like those Headcrab carrying rockets on Half Life perhaps). Now knowing how quick they were to try and harvest these creatures as weapons, it wouldn't be difficult to imagine that Metroids too may have been captured by the feds' to use as weaponry as well.
Actually, when you think about it, IF the Federation infected Samus on purpose, what if they sent the X specimens on BSL on purpose as well? What if they knew the SA-X would escape, and they wanted to see exactly how much potential this new weapon had? We know the Federation "didn't want Samus to become too powerful", but why? What if they didn't want Samus to become powerfull enough to actually be able to defeat the SA-X? I think that was the whole point of trying to prevent her from getting the diffusion/ ice missiles. If this is true, then the Federation must not have such peaceful intentions after all..
Axion - June 25, 2007 03:47 AM (GMT)
Yeah, but I think the main reason they didn't want Samus to become too powerful near the end of the game is because they knew she would try and destroy the Sa-X. Now if the creation of the Sa-X was purposeful or not, or if the Feds were testing either Samus or the Sa-X, I have no idea.
What I do know is that certain individuals of the Galactic Federation can no longer be fully trusted.
There is one way the X could have survived. Maybe, while Samus was making her way through the restricted area, or before she fought the final Sa-X, the Federation could have docked with BSL, captured a Sa-X or other X host, and made off before Samus could have even noticed. It's an old theory, but the most plausable one. Only thing left to explain is: Why, if the Feds did get to the station, did Adam not tell Samus?
It's a lot to contemplate.
