Vader_The_Darkness - July 30, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
Multi-player is better.

Rewrite - July 31, 2006 04:38 AM (GMT)
nah. SCREW MULTIPLAYER! I think single-player rules! If there was a darksamus playable character in MP2EMULTI I would have chosen her w000t! She rocks dude :D :D

"H4 H4 I V073 73H IM4G3 G4LL3|2Y"

<.<;

Stupid poll.

PhazonRidley - August 5, 2006 01:55 AM (GMT)
its obvoius that i would pick single player cause there just isnt enough modes or levels to keep my interest in it...and the lack of online play, or even bots takes away any replay in multi as well...and yeah i agree this is a dumb poll, and its obvious that evryone would pick single.

Bump.

dreadmaster - August 19, 2006 07:04 PM (GMT)
has anyone figured out why the multiplayer level "Sidehopper Station" is called that?
I know why.

SpacePirate - August 19, 2006 07:09 PM (GMT)

dreadmaster - August 19, 2006 07:21 PM (GMT)

strikesback7 - November 25, 2006 02:48 AM (GMT)
lol that would be cool

miles07 - April 12, 2007 06:43 PM (GMT)
I had to vote for Single Player. As much as I enjoy the Image Gallery (what?! I'm an art lover!), I must agree that Single Player is the pwnage. MP mode isn't that good, but it was their first try at making a Metroid Multiplayer... thing. Whatever.

PhazonBall - July 21, 2008 10:55 PM (GMT)
I liked single player.

Pirate_Commander - February 20, 2009 04:09 PM (GMT)
multi player was fun, but i go for single player

HistoryEater - February 20, 2009 04:12 PM (GMT)
i love single. the game is so challenging!

Adorios The Metalloid Assasin - February 20, 2009 07:07 PM (GMT)
single. more adventurous. (wow, i just replied to an xgmx'er...)

salsa911! - August 21, 2009 11:06 PM (GMT)
is Sanctuary Fortress in Multiplayer?

Metroidude - August 22, 2009 02:15 AM (GMT)
No, unfortunatly it's not...
I would choose singleplayer.
Although, I believe that multiplayer is expandable, just like samus' Power Suit! Lol :samus:

salsa911! - August 22, 2009 04:09 PM (GMT)
Okay. Man, I need to get this game!

Kuro-chan - August 23, 2009 12:06 PM (GMT)
You start off with 4 multi-player maps and can expand to 6 as you beat the game.

Although there was not a lot of variety in the multi-player maps, I think it was a good start towards a multi-player concept which Hunters had to go ruin. >_>

salsa911! - August 23, 2009 06:02 PM (GMT)
But didn't Hunters come out like a week or two before Prime 2?
Edit: Yeah, but nobody bought it! :P lol

Kuro-chan - August 24, 2009 01:13 AM (GMT)
Prime 2 came out in 2004.

Prime Hunters Demo came out in 2004.

Prime Hunters came out in 2006.

salsa911! - August 25, 2009 10:01 PM (GMT)
Idk what I was thinking.

metroidmaniac09 - January 26, 2010 11:09 AM (GMT)
The multi player mode is okay for maybe a feew minutes to an hour but that would be about it. for one the lack of character choice is one of the biggest flaws to this mode, that and the areas are no where near big enough. for me the story/single player mode is the mode of choice by far.
Even if I had the opp to play it online the novelty would eventually ware off. If you want my opinion just play hunters multiplayer at least you can have a different character to your opponent.

Metroidude - January 26, 2010 03:06 PM (GMT)
I believe that the MP2:E Multiplayer should be expanded on, not turned it into something crappy like MP:H. That game ruined the name of Metroid for fans of the series... Other gamers, not so much.

For instance, they could have made it way bigger. Lots more maps, custom skins, more gameplay elements, more powerups, ctf mode even! That would be awesome! I swear, if Nintendo does that, I will love them forever.
They could have expanded this into something awesome that players would play for countless hours with friends, trying to steal their flag, getting frags, or something more! But Thanks a lot Nintendo, the fans know what they want, and you're not giving it to us...

Kuro-chan - January 26, 2010 08:22 PM (GMT)
Red VS Blue, the Metroid-style =)

I will be honest though, adding more stuff to a game does not necessarily make it better. A misconceived game cannot be made superb with a bunch of add-ons.

I think Nintendo should've done that though... Metroid Prime Multiplayer can be done in a better way then hunters... I'm just saying, Nintendo ought to improve that.

salsa911! - February 6, 2010 01:54 AM (GMT)
Wait... there's no multiplayer in Trilogy, right?

Kuro-chan - February 6, 2010 03:22 PM (GMT)
Yes, actually. MP2 Multi-player was included in the Trilogy.
