I stopped listening at "...a statement that may heve 'spoiler' written all over it." I'm not a big fan of spoilers. But I did hear that it is now more of a spin-off. Interesting...

I thought the AVP series was the spin-off. I hated Requiem with a burning passion. Nothing turns my stomach upside down in a negative way, only Requiem. Blech.

I liked the look of the Alienator, but it was just over gory, annoying characters, screwy plot line, etc. Bottom line, any new Alien movie is going to be mediocre --------------------  |

Any new Alien movie will basically be a rehash, since the plot is so mindbendingly simple and straightforward that the rest of the movie resembles "1001 Ways to Die" or something cheesy like that.

Meh, to each his own. I liked the non-AVP Alien movies, and that's that. Prometheus better be good.

Prometheus was good. Not only good, but pretty dang good. I saw the movie yesterday, and I recommend all of you to watch it and give it a chance. The atmosphere was splendid through the whole movie (you could really see that this was the work of Ridley Scott), the plot was interesting and the visuals.. ah-mazing. And it does have some cool ties with Alien, considering it's not actually a prequel. Though nothing beats the original and the second, it was a good movie, a good watch for any sci-fi lover and I can recommend it. With my word as an avid Alien fan. Has anyone else watched it yet? -------------------- Completed Metroid games

Oh, I thought it already was out. It has been out in Sweden for six days. Surprising. XD Either way, I'd love to hear opinions on it when it's out. Both me and my friend liked it a bunches, and both him and I are quite big Alien fans. ^-^ -------------------- Completed Metroid games

I saw the midnight primer, and I liked it. It was pretty creepy, in a good way. Anyone else notice that Vickers looks a lot like Samus? And that there were those orange spacesuits in the background for one part of one scene that looked a lot like a Power Suit?

Through the whole movie, I just thought of how suitable the actress for Vickers would be in a Metroid movie and it's fun to hear that someone else thought that she looked a lot like Samus too. But I don't remembuh a Power Suit look-a-like though, but as usually, I never seem to notice things like that. >_> Cool you liked it too. :) -------------------- Completed Metroid games

X) I was actually about to ask you if you thought she'd be a great Samus. Looks like a yes! I feel like anything else I have to say about this movie is going to contain spoilers, so I'm off to make a new spoiler thread for this movie. Anyone who hasn't seen it, get to watching it and head on over!
